My self-summary
What took you so long to find me??

Some things that I often ponder
1. Instead of the glass being half full or empty, I wonder why they didn't use a smaller glass!!
2. If it ain't broke, find out why!!
3. I am in shape - round IS a shape!
4. I won't go walking with you on the beach at sunset because the beach is too crowded with people from these sites.

About time....it is now spring! I still miss that Texas sunshine.

I am still in the north-land (Chicago) but have begun my search for a home in south Texas. My relocation plans have been set back until Fall of 2014. I just accepted a contract job that was too good to turn down. And extra "beer-drinking" money is nothing to turn down - especially when you don't drink beer! :-)

As a frequent traveler, I have witnessed 24 hours of daylight near the Arctic Circle, ate Kim-chi with the locals, had bizarre adventures in Russia (even met the real Boris and Natasha), drove along Lake Geneva (and NOT the one in Wisconsin), snorkeled where the fresh water meets the ocean in Xcaret (and Xel-ha) and even took a road trip just to visit Fargo, ND. I have now explored every state in the contiguous US.

To plagiarize from another profile, I have also lived on the five borders of the US. Maine, California, and Texas. These border Canada, Mexico, the "Left Coast" (Pacific), the "Right Coast" (Atlantic), and the "Third Coast" (Gulf of Mexico). Maybe add to that Zion, Illinois (near Chicago) which is right ON Lake Michigan. That is also like a coast.
What I’m doing with my life
I am attacking my bucket list - and adding to it!!
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know!! But I do see people whispering and pointing at me!! :-)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too many to mention.

However, the Millenium Trilogy ("Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," "The Girl Who Played With Fire," and "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets' Nest") was pretty awesome. You HAVE to see the original, expanded Swedish versions (subtitled). They are each about 3 hours long. I have the books on my Kindle but have not read them as of now.

Give me a live performance and I will be there (concerts, theatre, comedy clubs, . . .)

Food? EVERYTHING is good when looking out over the Gulf - or any lake or ocean! OK, delete kimchi and calimari from that list!!

But being back up north, I MISS TEX-MEX! AND Texas bar-b-que! And Sonics! Ever try to order chicken fried steak and fried okra up north? Ha!
The six things I could never do without
1. Duct (or Duck) tape
2. WD-40
3. A hammer
4. Bungee cords
...and just to complete the list,
5. TexMex
6. Texas BBQ

OK, that's the entire list. Remember, if it moves and it shouldn't, duct tape it! If it doesn't move but it should, WD-40 it!! If it is stuck, hammer it!!!! And then go out for TexMex (or BBQ).
Life doesn't need to be any more complicated than that!!!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
...why fizzies foam when dropped into a Coke!
On a typical Friday night I am
Dropping fizzies into a Coke! Geez, I need to get out nore often, ya think??
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Trying to prove that there are more than 101 uses for duct tape!
