My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Rick! I'm kinda awesome. and by kinda, I mean sorta. and by awesome, I mean awesome!

That just happened.

I am originally from Chicago and Tampa. I have a lot of great friends, but i really need someone to get me into those couples dinners my married friends have (why wouldn't they invite me? they love me).

I annoy my friends with my long stories that always go off on wild tangents but always find their way back. I hate fake people and Sarah Palin. I love seeing how long I can keep people on the phone after they've tried to say good-bye. I am either a nerd or a geek but can't figure out which one. I love NPR but will probably never be a member. I love to drink delicious beer. and hang out at pubs. I started golfing because it's the cliche lawyer thing to do, and i kinda like it (athletics and beer is always good)

I spend all day trying to make everyone around me laugh. I don't think I am sarcastic but people always tell me I am.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a lawyer in the Army, i spend my days putting very bad people in jail. It is awesome.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
multiple choice tests. having long arms. bowling (kind of). overanalyzing everything. making people laugh.(parentheses)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My swagger. and my smile.

Music: I pretty much like whatever the college kids were listening to 6 months ago, lately listening to Sleigh Bells, Childish Gambino, Daft Punk, Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, Band of Horse. Indie rock, hip hop, 90's alternative.

TV: I am loving Broad City right now. All your typical dramas (Homeland, Orange is the new black, etc). All time faves are The Daily Show, Arrested Development (best writing ever) and The Wire (televsion as art and cultural commentary).

Books: I love Heinlein, Palahniuk, and Vonnegut. I also love graphic novels like Saga, 100 Bullets, Y, and Ex Machina.

Food: I equally love really fancy food and dirt cheap food. If it tastes good what else is there. I love Chipotle, but don't love the guilt I have after eating a 1500 calorie burrito(brown rice doesn't really make it healthy- why don't they have half sizes). I also love cereal thats marekted to kids (Fruity Pebbles, Reese's Peanutbutter Puffs). but I'm lactose intolerant.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
After Afghanistan, this answer has definitley been tested out. Apparently they're: the internet, a shower, friends to joke around with, gym/excercise, coffee, a bed.

I was shocked to find that beer is not one. Although, there's a lot of things we could do without but that we still really want.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
really elaborate plans if i won the lottery, featuring cool homes around the world that my friends could stay at whenever they want (even though i don't play).

how people come up with recipes. i mean did they just stumble upon pizza? beacuse that had to be an awesome day.

what it would be like to have a job you don't think about when you get home, and if that would be a good thing.

how can i make solar/wind/tide energy use happen, cause that shits just out there waiting to be used, no digging or war necessary
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
either having a low key night after a long work week or going to the bars. So basically the same as everyone ever.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i have privates. and they're spectacular!

but for real, I am a chronic oversharer. Here's a sample: I don't really cry, but i get teary when I see this google commercial ( about a dad sending emails to the daughter as she grows up. If you don't, then you're a robot. Powered by android.
