This may sound familiar but I have never thought I would ever try anything like online dating but then figured why not, I've had a lot friends try this and they have found their someone special. It's difficult with a busy schedule to be in the right places to find the type of women I seek.

It's great meeting and dating interesting women but would prefer to find something long term. I have a sensitive side but am not needy or clingy and in no rush to push a new relationship into something serious without due course but once I'm serious about love I'm very passionate.

I am rather ambitious and for the most part know what I want out of life and my career. I'm enjoy self improvement, often set personal goals and often achieve.

I am dynamic, flexible, quite easy going, somewhat outgoing, have good sense of humour and an open mind but have serious side and principles and character when/where appropriate. Enjoy many types of social & recreational activities but also enjoy just hanging out or watching movies (love comedies, documentaries & more), restaurants, reading or relaxing. Healthy eating is very important to me but I occasionally let myself have some treats. A strong respect for the environment and do more than just my part. Very honest. Responsible citizen, worker, family member, father, financially. Love my friends and social life but also family oriented. I treat all people with respect and have a soft side for all the needy people around the world. Not a push-over. I love all animals, especially dogs but don't have any.

I am organized in and around the house but not certainly not religiously (my garage is a mess at the moment!). Enjoy the gym once or twice a week (but should go 3Xs!). I speak Spanish well, I lived in South America for 3 years. Traveling is fun, love the South & it's culture but traveling for vacation isn't a must.

Nearly love all types of music. An open mind is key (I feel that if there's a whole genre of music/food/art I don't like, maybe it is I that is missing something). I listen mostly to pop, rock, reggae, R & B, fusion, Latin, even some alternative rock or country/folk & other world music. I have played every type of popular music styles as a drummer/singer. Music inspires me in the good and bad times but I'm not a music freak as I balance my life with many forms of entertainment & interests. Sunsets and beaches are always awesome. If I won the lottery (which I don't really play) I'd give 1/3 away to the needy put a 1/3 or more in an investment and have some fun with the rest! My downside is I stay up too late too often but still working to correct that.

Self employed. Enjoy my work (mostly). Play live music 2-3 days per week mostly in Halifax but also around the Maritimes, Ont. & U.S. Also Record music and do some real-estate during the week. Have one incredible daughter (11) who I look after a 2-3 days per week. Was married for 13 years. Enjoy my current life style & friends but meeting more great people is great!

You are driven by your interests, enjoy your life, are emotionally mature, are considerate, keep care of your health and body, interested in learning, enjoy humour, sometimes spontaneous. There's such a variety of great personalities it's hard to pinpoint the exact "type" of women I am looking for, confidence is great but so is intelligence, character and chemistry, there are many great combinations.

Turn offs: being too superficial or stereotypical, hypocritical or highly materialistic or have too many tattoos or piercings.
