My Self-Summary
Okay, there you go - "ha ha ha".
I've been living in Charlotte for a few years, and am looking to meet some new people. I like movies, beer, coffee, fine food, shitty food...sustenance, I guess and especially music. Yes - everybody says that, but I'm seriously, seriously into it, and it's definitely my single greatest interest. I'm constantly looking for something that sounds like nothing I've ever heard before.
What I do: social work for the severely mentally ill
What I want to do: something with maps or cities and the like.
Given my interest in that, I love traveling and experiencing new cultures foreign and domestic. That pretty much includes all of them, too. Western Europe, Kyrgyzstan, Fort Mill, whatever - lesgo
Are you a comedy nerd? I am: Mr. Show, Kids in the Hall, The Office (UK & US), Upright Citizens Brigade, Black Books, Wonder Showzen, Hot Fuzz and most of Christopher Guest's films are some of my faves. If you're into any of this, we'll probably be laughing at the same things.
I like staying in and going out in roughly even amounts - I think it helps you appreciate the other more. In terms of going out, I most like going to a neighborhood bar that's not too crowded and maybe playing some pool, just hanging out with good friends or possibly singing karaoke.
About what I'm looking for:
Someone who's intellectual, but knows when not to be and can appreciate the value of stupidity. It's not important that you have the same taste in music or anything else as me, but it's always nice to find a wild mind who can understand the the same sorts of things. Somebody affectionate. An interest in travel and exploring the world in general.
What I’m doing with my life

The first things people usually notice about me
my sparkling blue eyes
For some reason (and I don't know why), I have dewclaws. Most humans don't, and people always point them out. But you should be careful mentioning them to me. I'm very sensitive, and I get hurt easily. So, walk on some eggshells, ok?
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Ok, you got me - the last one I made up.

TV: Boondocks, Arrested Development, Squidbillies, Python, Human Giant, Venture Bros, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Office(s), Extras, ATHF, Wonder Showzen, Strangers With Candy, Mail Call, Lost, etc, etc.

For the record, I'm cool with meeting somebody for romance or for friendship. Either one would be mighty fine.
