My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Howdy,
I'm Riley. I'm an Illustrator, which is like being a artist, but without all the starving. My job keeps me cooped up all day (and sometimes night) so I am usually trying to get out of the house.
When i can't, I'm happiest in the kitchen, especially when cooking for guests.
Also, I come from a family of burners. Not entirely sure what that says about me, but I feel like it's important.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Tricking people as regularly as I can into paying me for art.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Golf for some reason. I hate the game, but I'm apparently great at it.
I'm a pretty good cook too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a hugger.
Or the facial scar. And yes, you can ask.

Sorry. This section is way too long. Feel free to skip it. If not, let's talk books... William Moulton Marston is my idol. You should read any/all of his biographies.
Otherwise, Art and Fear, Regarding the Pain of Others, the Art and Eating, and The Moral Landscape are some of my favorites (even if Sam Harris is an asshole). I don't read much fiction outside of comics.

But about comics though... I love Neil Gaiman and Mark Waid. Also, if you have ever heard of Grant Morrison, we should get along famously.
And I should mention, the Green Lantern is very important to me. I can and will talk your ear off if prompted.

In terms of television, Cosmos, Archer, GoT, Flash/Arrow, Supernatural (Yes. Still), most everything Netflix has from the UK, and a few other series I've been peer-pressured into.

I like 90% of all music. I'll save you the list, but trust me, we overlap somewhere. Right now, I'm listening to Purity Ring, Fol Chen, Yes, and Elbow.

As far as food goes, I cook constantly. I get bored quick, but recently, I've been doing a lot of greek food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My art
JC Leyendecker's art
Burns
Borrelia burgdorferi
Ion, the space whale of will
And coffee (I have plenty of bad habits, but only one addiction)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The logistics of building a giant skull fortress/vodka bar in the mountains of North Carolina.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Basically, I'm a tall hobbit.
Unless you have something really compelling, or the realm is in peril, I'm probably at the local drinking hole or a friends getting high and playing games until I have to tiptoe around a sea of passed out stoners to get to bed.
My feet are also stupidly big. Thats not a dick joke, nor does it have anything to do with the question. It just helps the analogy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have stronger opinions about the internal politics of Oa than my own government and I'm a little ashamed of that.
