Hey there! So a little about me I guess: I’m laid back and down to earth but also love going out and having a good time. I know how to have fun with pretty much anyone in any situation (and no that is not a challenge). In the summer I'm all about the water and going on a hike and in the winter it's ice skating and snowball fights (and yes that is a challenge). Looking for something exciting and new, and someone that can keep me on my toes. I'm super straightforward and not the game playing type (unless it's Clue, then I'll kick your ass).
Also ENFJ, because apparently that's a thing here.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I work at a childrens book publisher and I'm absolutely loving what I do. Other weekday festivities include: Going to my soccer games, running through the bike path, reading at my favorite bar, going out to dinner with friends, and playing on my company's kickball team.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, whether it’s with me or at me. I'm also good at smiling, sarcasm, cooking, not taking things too seriously, cartwheels, and figuring out the end to movies as I'm watching them. And parentheses (apparently).
The first things people usually notice about me
Usually my eyes. They're different colors--one is brown and one is
green. Weird, right?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Love reading. Right now I'm switching off between nonfiction and fiction and I'm particularly drawn to WWII. Favorites are anything by Jonathan Tropper. Also Slaughterhouse Five, Everything Is Illuminated, and It’s Kind of a Funny Story.
Shows: Parks and Rec, Criminal Minds, Louie, Scrubs, Community, Dexter, Bob's Burgers, Arrested Development, Shameless.
Music: Anything from 90s to Country to crappy Pop music to solo piano. I'm kind of hard to pin down when it comes to music and always open to listen to something new!
Food: I loooove to cook and try out new recipes. I mostly cook vegetarian, though, and my specialites include butternut squash mac and cheese as well as sweet and sour tofu. Actually currently on a mission to find the best mac and cheese/best eggs benedict in Boston. Are you up for the challenge?
The six things I could never do without
Friends, laughter, playing piano, passport, books, and going
On a typical Friday night I am
At a dive bar with my friends, usually belting out the Spice Girls
really really badly.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m deathly afraid of spiders. Seriously, I don't mind bugs but I
become a complete wimp when even the smallest of spiders is in my
presence. So if you're a spider warrior, chances are we'll get
You should message me if
You think you’re someone I can goof around with :)
