I am random, geeky, and spontanious.
My Self-Summary
Hi! I'm Liz / Lizzie / Ellzie / whatever you'd like to call me. I
am proudly quite geeky and enjoy
video games and
table top gaming,
conversing about gaming, and tinkering with
computers. I also like a few sports
(
Tennis,
Volleyball, and
Basketball)
even though I suck at them~ I mean.. I'm AMAZING at them.... cough.
Via
the Ting
Tings: "I miss the catch when they throw me the ball, I'm the
last chick standing up against the wall. Keep up, falling, these
heels they keep me boring, getting clamped up and sitting on the
fence now!"
I really like
dancing and would be thrilled to find a
clubbing buddy.
I'm not too savvy with the
Des Moines scene.
I'm
writing a
novel! The Nutritionist's Guide to Zombie Surivival. (Interested in
following my progress? Go here!

Art-wise I make
wire sculptures. Pictures don't
really do them justice, however, as I seem to fail at taking hi-rez
pictures. I'd like to try
clay molding a little more but have
yet to get a decent space to set up a work area.
I have a
kitten
whom I loooove, Her name is Harmony and I've had her since I was 5.
She's incredibly spoiled. Like, INCREDIBLY spoiled. She has her own
heating pad. And gets massaged with my back massager daily. But I'm
not some crazy cat lady, promise!
I'm relatively good with messaging people I find interesting, but
sometimes I get a little shy and 'wink' at others. So if I checked
you out and didn't message you, and you're interested, wink back at
me or email me and you'll find out if I was just too shy.
I'm not too attached to Newton, if I found someone elsewhere that I
get serious with I'm not opposed to moving. :D
I have a bad habit of making an uncontrolled squeak subconsciously
when certain things happen. You'll just have to find out what they
are.
I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to age and maturity. I know I'm
only 21, but, I'm
independent and don't live with
mummy and have a good job. I don't throw wild parties that are so
loud the neighbors get pissed off, I work for what I have and I'd
really like someone who does the same. I can appreciate someone
that's in college full time - but it seems like the majority of the
people I meet that are 24 years of age or under aren't very mature,
or at least not enough for me. If you think you can show me you're
more mature than the average high schooler and want a REAL
conversation, by all means send me an email.
Yes, I'm actually
bisexual. No, I don't favour one side
or the other. No, I'm not just 'doing it for attention.' Please
don't message me about it unless you genuinely want to talk about
it for your own gain, or if you're confused.
I AM
NOT HERE
FOR SEX, If you're just going to message me about sex-talk
don't bother. Does it say I'm looking for Casual partners over
there > ? NO. There are other websites for that. (I know, I
sound a little bitchy about that, but I am seriously sick of the
4-5 people IMing me a day about it.)
What I’m doing with my life
Been spending a lot of time on my
elliptical lately, I've replaced
copious video gaming with copious exercising while watching TV. Big
fan of just sweating and watching Eureka.
I currently am working in management at an
ISP Technical Support
Center. Admittedly it's not the most exciting job, but I love
most of my coworkers and it gives me time to do personal things if
I need to.
I've recently gotten in to
building computers. I'm
working on my Mum's desktop computer at the moment, and am pretty
excited about educating myself in that realm.
Been dedicating most of my time to writing lately. Hoping to get my
book out by March 2010.
Also, tending to my
old crotchety cat. She is the
queen
of the universe and apparently my only role in life is to
please her else I want to go deaf with constant yowling. Oy!
I’m really good at
...
singing,
perhaps not as well as I used to, but it's one of my favourite
things to do and for a long time was my life goal. (being
successful in the music industry, that is.)
I'd like to think I'm a fairly advanced
gamer. Heh.
The first things people usually notice about me
How curly my hair is. Most people I first meet then get the intense
urge to boing one of my curls.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: ANYTHING by
Piers Anthony or
Dean Koontz. I am especially
fond of To Ride A Pale Horse (Piers Anthony) and Intensity (Dean
Koontz). I'm also quite fond of Keeping You A Secret. I am
absolutely in love with Chuck Palanuik.
Movies: At the moment I am a big fan of Serenity, The 10th Kingdom,
But I'm A Cheerleader, If These Walls Could Talk, Adam & Steve,
Silent Hill and so on.
I watch more TV shows that movies, and am very fond of Greys
Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Wonderfalls,
Firefly, The L Word Hana Kimi, The IT Crowd, How I Met Your
Mother... I've managed to re-watch most of the shows I actively
follow and can't seem to find anything good to get in to! Usually I
rely on www.surfthechannel.com and most of the things people have
suggested I can't watch D:
However! My roommate is a Supernatural nut and has dragged me into
insanity with her. I'm still looking for a way out.
Music-wise, I listen to just about anything. Jude is one of my
favourites (if you're going to google him, type Jude - Prophet...
googling just Jude is bound to leave for hours of annoyance trying
to find the right link.), I like Evanescence due to being able to
get overtones when singing along with Ami Lee. I'm a big fan of
alternative and hard rock. Going to the Korn concert in August, and
NIN! Eeee!
I'm not picky when it comes to food. I could live off of rice and a
little soy sauce. Sushi is probably my favourite thing ever. If I
had to choose between an orgasm and Unagi, I'd probably have to go
with Unagi (eel). I love cooking and am always trying to come up
with new things.
Editors
The six things I could never do without
My cat, Sushi Rice, My cuddle pillow (Yes! I have one of these!),
Super Nintendo, Sex, Good Grammar.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How much I HATE uneven numbers; what I should put in my book;
lyrics; how many steps I've taken that day.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working D:
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I have a bit of a problem with OCD. Mostly about numbers. My
favourite number is 26 and uneven numbers drive me crazy. The
number 7 is iffy though, since it's supposed to be "lucky." I don't
know, it just bothers me.
Also, I hate how big my boobs are.
You should message me if
...well, generally I think it's a little lame when people just say
"you want to" or "if you want a good conversation" or things like
that... but I'm not too picky! And if you're not my type I'll just
politely inform you of this.
If you need a new table top gaming partner DEFINITELY message me
:P
DO NOT, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, MESSAGE ME: if ur guna talk liek dis.
Shut the fuck up. It is spelled YOU and ARE. UGH that seriously
pisses me off *$* )$(*@$. Ehem.
