Hm, what to write... I grew up in the North Bay, went to college in San Diego and am currently finishing up grad school in San Francisco.

Some hobbies of mine include: piano and violin, writing, running, hiking, computer programming, martial arts, pub trivia, swing/ballroom dancing, cooking on occasion.

I would describe myself as easy-going, honest, open-minded, creative, thoughtful, musical, empathetic, somewhat introverted...alright, I'll put down the thesaurus.

Most music genras.... '50's - '90's, classical, jazz.

Most types of food... Dim Sum, Thai, Japanese, Indian, Italian, Peruvian.

As far as shows go: The Daily Show, Mythbusters, Good Eats, or historical documentaries.

In terms of movies: comedies, action, sci-fi, documentaries, animated. Usually, the fewer random explosions, the better.

Open space, hikes, a piano (gets heavy carrying it around all the time), free time, exercise, friends.

Future plans, current events, state of the country, the environment, global warming.

Thinking about plans for the weekend, playing the piano, watching a movie, getting some takeout.
