I'll get to the point. I'm new to town and I'm trying to make some
friends. I'm quite independent and get along fine without any help,
but this is my new home town and I gotta start somewhere. I've got
a job working in the nuclear industry, I've got a car, an apartment
all by myself, and some time to kill. I haven't done a whole lot
with the online dating scene, but I'll give it a shot. Some things
to know about me is I've got a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry
from the University of Florida, I love cooking and eating steak
(medium-rare), I love my family and friends from sea-to-shining-sea
(and under), and I'd like some company if you think I'm a friend
you'd like to have. I love my country, my military, my science, and
my guns, in addition to a whole lot of things. I work hard and love
hard, and I take my life seriously. If I can meet some people like
me, or people who are headed in the right direction and want to tag
along, give me a message and let's see if we can be friends.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working at a nuclear power plant, learning the ropes of getting
around the plant and doing my job safely. In my spare time I'm
grocery shopping, cleaning around my apartment, or watching a movie
at home. Whenever I get the chance I like to go to a gun range and
get some trigger time. I like to play video games, go shopping, and
drive around Augusta and see what's what in town.
I’m really good at
finding chemicals that put holes in my clothes! Labs are pretty
dirty places and there's a reason this stuff doesn't lay around
most people's houses. I'm a little bit of a pyro and enjoy camp
fires and grilling a london broil steak when I get the urge. I'm a
gun fanatic, but I'm a guy, so I think I get a pass on that one.
I'm a scientist and love talking technology, and sometimes a little
bit of politics.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have brown hair and brown eyes, and I'm most comfortable in cargo
pants, t-shirt, and running shoes. I usually have a mismatch of UF
and Navy gear laying around my car and room. I'm usually quiet, but
if you find the right topic, I'll talk your ear off.

The six things I could never do without
Food! Okay, so it's a sorta self-evident necessity, but I
really love to eat. It's part of my happy place. I'm big into
Tex-Mex and grilling when I get the chance.
Internet! I love staying in touch with friends or
My morning shower. I can barely get my day started without
Phone. I'm not inextricably linked with it, but I love to
listen to music and call up friends when I'm bored.
My backpack(s). An odd thing sure, but their like old
friends, and they have stories to go along with them.
Six... lemme think, there's all sorts of things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

income, finding time for hobbies, and how to start building new
On a typical Friday night I am
I like to watch DVD's and make snacks as much as anything. Saturday
nights I'll go out and grab a drink and grab some food around town.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'd like to go back to school some day, but I know that it's a
challenge after being out for a while. Getting into the real world
has been a real blessing and helped put a lot of things in
perspective, but I hate sitting idle when I have better potential
if I only rise to the challenge.
You should message me if
you want to start a real conversation to get to know me. Try
something like, "Hi, my name is _____ "... and lets find something
to talk about, or better yet, lets find some place to meet up and
talk over pizza, sandwhich, beer, or whatever you happen to be in
the mood for. Come as you are and I promise I won't bite.
