My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I own a cat, ride a scooter, and work as a designer at an architecture firm. I fix my own car, play soccer, go to the gym, and collect (and use) antique cameras. I guess you could say that I have varied and somewhat obscure interests, but you'll never see me doing anything ironically, I do the shit I do because I genuinely like it.

What else should you know about me? I absolutely view men and women on equal terms. Sarah Conner was as much a part of my childhood as John McClain was.

Right now my life is pretty great, I'm working in a career that I love, I have great friends, and there seems to be almost endless fun to be had in this amazing city.

Really, I'm looking for someone to share laughter, exploration, and adventure with. I would also love to find a partner in crime. Not real crime, more like petty crime, like jumping fences to go for 3 AM swims and other general adventure/mischief. I would like to find someone who I can best describe as simply down. Down to do pretty much whatever whenever. Someone who realizes its not what you do, but who you do it with that matters.

Here's a list of some things I'm in favor of, in no particular order:

Public Transportation
Walk-able Cities
Gay marriage
Manual transmissions
Cultural exchange
Travel
Trying new things
Cats, Dogs, Fish, Reptiles, Birds, Insects
Education
Sustainability
Laughter
Long Walks
Film Photography
Open mindedness
Logic
Sex (GGG all the way!)
Sending people to Mars
Mindfulness
Kindness
Urban Rail
Xbox
The Metric System
Spontaneity
Mid century modern design
Exercise
Cards against humanity
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working at an Architecture/Landscape Architecture firm that allows me to use my creativity to solve complex problems.

Playing soccer, going to the gym, practicing an esoteric martial art, photography, and occasionally fly fishing.

Beyond that, I'm always doing my best to continue learning, laughing, and exploring.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Picking bruised Avocados, seriously HEB, are they ALL bruised???
Winning and losing gracefully.
Design, although it turns out I'm pretty horrible at Civil Engineering.
Taking Naps on Sundays with my cat while I'm "watching" a soccer match....no no, don't turn it off, those soothing British accents make me feel like I'm home!
Driving, I know for many its a chore, but I really love cars, and for me it is one of those truly fantastic experiences in life.
Photography, or at least I was. I'm revising it as a hobby currently.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love anything that involves mystery, adventure, excitement and/or comedy. I also always love a good revenge or redemption story.

Some of my favorites books, movies, and shows are: anything Sherlock Holmes, anything by William Gibson, Blade Runner, Big Trouble in Little China, Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz, Archer, The league, River Monsters, and most recently I'm really digging New Girl. I would love to get a group together to attempt a game of "true American."

As far as music, I love New Wave, Industrial, and Synth Pop the most...just think New Order, Nine Inch Nails, and Depech Mode but otherwise, I'm not too picky. Currently absolutely in love with CHVRCHES, M83, MNDR, and Purity Ring. And 90s R&B, yeah, go figure...

Food wise, I'm always down to try something new and exciting: pig ear, bear, sea urchin, crickets, jellyfish, fish liver, snake... someday I will have eaten everything that walks, crawls, swims, or grows on this earth.

Beyond that, being from El Paso, I absolutely love Norteno style Mexican food.

Oh and Middle Eastern food, If you can cook it you have my heart already.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Spontaneous adventures with good friends....you know those nights...they start at a bar and inexplicably end with hopping a fence and jumping off a fake waterfall into a random pool at 4am...

The warm days and cool nights of spring and fall.

The endorphin rush from playing a few hours of pickup soccer.

Chilling at home with my cat watching a documentary, or a movie, or just watching a storm out the window.

The free night swim at Barton Springs; there's no better way to cool off during an Austin summer.

Passion. I mean there is nothing better than seeing someone's eyes light up when they talk about something they REALLY care about.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to become a professional race car or getaway driver.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm not sure I have a "typical" night, lately it's been a pick up soccer match followed by grabbing something tasty & healthy at central market or doing some grilling and relaxing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have tinnitus from going to too many shows and from playing in an industrial band when I was younger, so going to SXSW or FFFF are unfortunately out for me.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to play laser tag, go to an arcade, hit the rock climbing wall and pretend to be on American Gladiators, or go to a museum...I'm always down.

Also, if this sounds as fantastic to you as it does to me: sitting on the benches by the Long Center pond at night looking out at the city lights listening to New Order.

You have mad cooking skills and want to go to MT supermarket (or equivalent) and teach me about all the wonderful ingredients that I have no idea about, and then go cook some delicious food with me.
