My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, my name is Robert. I'm a very open and accepting individual, and am generally friendly towards most everyone. Like my namesake Robert Baratheon (lol) I am the true steel, I can bend to be able to work with people. I'll really put in effort to have a good relationship with a person, and I really value intellectual prowess and conversation. I am also an avid believer of the philosophy of you shouldn't have an opinion on anything without having tried it or without having very solid factual understanding of it.

I am also of the opinion that life is a giant grey area and that there can be exceptions for everything.

I am looking for any kind of relationship at the moment. I also enjoy playing sports, just don't ask me who my favorite team is, I don't watch them haha. I play soccer and I swim.

I'll pretty much always reply if you send me a message. I don't think I'll ever drop below "replies frequently."
Oh, and the girl in the picture is my cousin.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At the moment I'm going through college and am getting my general education out of the way. I haven't settled on what I want to do yet, but I am actively searching for my true calling. I work and go to school at the same time, but I do try and make as much room in my social life as I can.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I hate to say it, but debating. If I like a topic enough I'll research it and memorize information forward and backwards, and I'll check any information someone tells me. I just won't ever call you a liar, that's just plain rude.

This might sound weird but many people have also told me that I'm very well spoken, so I suppose that's something I'm really good at as well. Speaking. Dull I know.

I am a master at sounding like a moron when I butcher the lyrics of a song I love.

Talking openly about who I am within my comfort zone. (Obviously I won't tell you about that time I idiotically decided to hold a lit firework in my hand to see what would happen if it exploded as I was holding it. Wait a second...)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The very first thing people notice about me is that I apparently have a slight tinge of an accent that they can't put their finger on. I have talked to people for 5 minutes and they'll ask me where I'm from because of it. It happens too often for it to be coincidence, but I have no clue what they're talking about haha, I think I sound just like everyone else in California.

Oh my, this is going to be a doozy. Lets go in order.
Well this part's going to be really long :(

Books
The Watchmen, The Song of Fire and Ice saga, the Harry Potter series, the inheritance series (even though the ending was totally gimpy), The Forever Wars, Fight Club, A Clockwork Orange, Ender's Game, The Hunt For Red October, almost everything from Michael Chrichton <3 (Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Sphere, Prey, Timeline, etc) Steven King books, Tricks of the Mind by Derren Brown (Brownie points if you recognize the name) then comic books and mangas are something else I like but won't go into. You'll be here all day, trust me.

Movies
Godfather part 1&2 but I think that's a given. Anything Mel Brooks. Watchmen. Anything from Frank Darabont (Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, the Mist), anything from Stanley Kubrik (Full Metal Jacket, 2001: A Space Odyssey, the Shinning), the first two terminators, the first two Alien Movies, most of James Cameron's films (god no, not avatar.) Most of Billy Wilder's films (more brownie points if you recognize him too), woody Allen movies, inception (rather straightforward, but good.) and a good number of Christopher Nolan's other stuff. Blade runner. Fifth element. Mel Brooks movies. I could keep going but I have years worth of movies I can name. Next.

Shows
I don't really watch much television, but shows are How I Met Your Mother, (I don't watch it but I would and could keep up anywhere you drop me in the series) game of thrones, and a tidbit of modern family. Most of the things that I watch that are episode based are anime's but I don't really watch many of those. I'll watch something if it's not overly drawn out and can keep me interested long enough.

Music
I listen to a loooot of music. Genres i listen to are classic rock, hard rock, electronic/dubstep, metal, heavy metal, classical, a lot more sub genre's of the ones I named.
For specific artists; Just some of my iPod: Adventure club, the airborne toxic event, America, Anberlin, Animals, the Beatles, Billy Swan, Black sabbath, Coheed and Cambria, Dream Theatre, Eagles, Electric Light Orchestra, The Flaming Lips, Fleetwood Mac, Foreigner, Goo goo dolls, Heart, Kansas, led Zepplin, Massive Attack, Megadeth, Metallica, Minus the Bear, Muse, of monsters and men, Ok Go, Pink Floyd, The Police, queen, Red Jumpsuit Aparatus; Seether, soundgarden, Styx, Swedish house mafia, theory of a deadman, three days grace, and a bunch of people you more likely than not have never even heard of and don't care about. I like a lot more than that, that's just what I own.

Food
Tough one. Italian (does this really need to be said?), Mexican is really good, though I have yet to try other Latin cuisine, Mediterranean (such as Greek or Arabic dishes. Gyro's are really good, so are the other Arabic dishes that extend past just humus.), I loooove sushi, but haven't really had Japanese cuisine past that. Am definitely game to have some real Japanese food. I like Chinese, although I prefer Korean barbecue, I think it's way better. Have never had Mongolian but have always wanted to try it. I love spicy food. If you tell me it's spicy it had better be spicy, don't be a light weight about it ;)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The Internet. I'd go through withdrawal without that information always at my fingertips.

My iPod. It's on me all the time. All. The. Time.

My collection of books an comic books. I've reread so many of them.

My Razor/trimmer. I don't mind having some scruff, and actually enjoy it, but so help me, if it gets too long I start to have a crazy look in my eyes

My phone. Ironically I don't use it for texting that often. I have a lot of my books on it xD and I don't have a computer so it is my computer.

My wallet. Pretty self explanatory.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Random things that are random. It kind of depends from day to day. As of late I've just been crunching numbers on how to manage my time. Oh and Greek and Norse mythology, because mythology is awesome.

Raymond K. Hessel and what might have happened to him.

The physics behind the art of filling a cup of water up faster than normal while at a beverage fountain (which doesn't really work)

SQUIRL!

totally awesome shit that I should have stopped thinking about at the age of 12.

What I should totally watch/read cause it looks awesome (but probably never will)

What I would do with immortality, and how it wouldn't be the cluster fuck everyone makes it out to be.

When someone puts "I like to have fun" as one of their interests on their profile. Well what the fuck does that mean? Broad much?

Movies and their plots, and comparing characters from different movies to each other. (This isn't limited to just movies)

How I put too much effort into this. You've probably given up reading long before this lol.

How people say the darnedest things. "Put effort into a message, I'll probably respond." Message is then followed by silence. :(
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually working as of late. Sad face. If I can I'll do whatever possible to go out. Just hang out, or go someplace. Doesn't matter to me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a complete and total geek. Don't worry I can behave myself.

Oh, and uh, I like to make music videos for songs in my head. Is that normal? That's probably not normal.

And since we're talking about music, you'll hate the majority of my favorite bands/songs. I am all knowing, I'm a wizard like that.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to have an intellectual conversation that won't eventually turn into "I'm not an idiot you're an idiot."

You want to maybe see about setting something up to have a good time, be it just a movie or drink, or something more than that.

You just want someone to talk to and think I'm interesting! I don't bite :)
