My self-summary
Really? I already have a drink. Do you think he'll buy me mozzarella sticks?
What I’m doing with my life
I am the general manager for a professional theatre in midtown. I also run my own company which helps emerging artists plan their careers. Both are awesome and I'm so lucky to do what I love.
I’m really good at
Im pretty good at jumping into any social situation. I have become the defacto wedding date to all my friends. I can easily turn on the charm, wit, and and I not afraid to get out there and bust a move. Put on 80s or 90s dance music, and thats it, Im the life of the party.

Im also really good at board games....or Im just really good at trash talking during board games.

On a more serious note, Im told that Im a great listener....I know because I listen when they tell me :)
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically--- my eyes. They are a rare dark shade of blue. I've been told were going extinct.

Personality --- I just asked one of my best friends, who I've been spending a lot of time with lately to describe in three words. Without really thinking, her initial reaction was: funny, snarky, and fiercely loyal (I know thats 2 words, I yelled at her too). So there ya go.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
books - The Kite Runner, Down These Mean Streets, Harry Potters, Angels and Demons, Next Fall, The Normal Heart, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, House of Leaves (although its really creepy), Angels in America, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Grapes of Wrath, Fahrenheit 451, Antigone, Romeo and Juliet, The Iceman Cometh, The Secret Life of Bees, Waiting for Godot, The Seagull, The Giver, Flight, Water for Elephants, The Crucible, The Cider House Rules, and The Stone Water Rapture. (I ran a national literacy program for 6 years so I could literally keep going and going, but I'll spare you.)

movies - Clueless, Mean Girls, Dont Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead, The Silence of the Lambs, Labrynth, Steel Magnolias, Away We Go, The Goonies, My Cousin Vinny, My Best Friends Wedding, Pretty Woman, Superbad, As Good as it Gets, The Family Stone, Monster, The Kings Speech, Milk, Little Miss Sunshine, American Beauty, Shakespeare in Love, Scary Movie (1 and 2), Elvira Mistress of the Dark, Scream, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Bridesmaids, X-Men, X2, Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, Seven, Legally Blonde, Juno, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Little Mermaid, Team America, Rent, Young Frankenstein, Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo, The Devil Wears Prada, Teen Witch, Love Actually, and Clue.

shows - Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Slings and Arrows, In Plain Sight, Modern Family, Parenthood, The Golden Girls, Will and Grace, Happy Endings, Drop Dead Diva, Charmed, The West Wing, Gilmore Girls, Six Feet Under, Weeds, NJ Housewives (sad, but true), Project Runway, Ru Pauls Drag Race, Law and Order SVU, NCIS, Without a Trace, Criminal Minds, Dexter, Las Vegas, Judging Amy, Family Guy, and Arrested Development.

Music - I have pretty eclectic music tastes, and I like a large spectrum of sounds, beats, and rhythms. I usually find myself drawn to acoustic live versions of almost all songs. I really enjoy the simple and raw nature of that sound.

Food - Pretty adventurous, although I try to eat healthier these days, I try not to let a "diet" dictate my life. I generally like Mexican or Thai. Those would be my first two choices. I'll usually try anything at least once. I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen--which sometimes works out great, and sometimes is disastrous.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
For a long time, I would've said my next creative project. I like to let my mind wander and see where it takes me.

Lately, I've been thinking about meeting my "partner in crime." I am ready to take on something more serious and see where it leads. So I wonder where you find this person.... Hence, me writing this statement, haha
On a typical Friday night I am
Spending time with friends or family. The people closest to me are the most important things in my life. I definitely enjoy my alone time, but I really thrive around the people I love. We can be seen doing lots of things from movies, to a relaxed club, dance party, dining out, bowling, weekend road trips, and just walking around if the weather is nice

I also have a car, so sometimes I'm off to my next weekend adventure on a Friday night.... Which more often than not turns into the beach :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know all the lyrics to the majority of salt n pepa's hits.

and I have an irrational fear of ladders
