My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have no idea how to write a self-summary, it seems like just plucking random words out of the air and hoping for the best. You know all those emotions you've had and skills you've shown? I had those emotions, too! I showed all those skills, probably! Isn't it amazing, how we have things in common?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I'm in charge of the website of a human rights organisation, which I still find slightly unbelievable. Sometimes I still wonder if I am dreaming the job I am in, but I am around 80% confident that I am not.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
selling things that aren't myself, but Lord knows I'm not sure how to sell Roberts on a site like this. I once wrote 28 jokes in five minutes; I was proud of that for a while.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a habit of either being very loud or very quiet, so the first thing people notice about me is likely to depend on the day. Hopefully they notice I am not too much either way, but having never met myself I'm not sure I can comment.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like all sorts of books including murder mysteries, science fiction, and science-fiction-based murder mysteries. I have a soft spot for indie magazines and long books by Americans, although I try to keep this secret in case it makes me a hipster.

My favourite movie is Up, because it made me cry, my favourite show is Doctor Who because I am a nerd, and my favourite music is more embarrassing than the most private thing I'm willing to admit on this site. (see below!) My favourite food involves noodles somehow, but I haven't quite figured out how to make it yet.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Thing one

Small bits of paper. I have a tendency to doodle small little creatures around the margins of things, and if I'm not careful I begin to do it on important documents.

Thing two

The atmosphere. This is serious; I (and you, even if you are OLD) am of an age where climate change is likely to have a resoundingly negative effect on my life, and I worry that it is something that we don't confront as much as we should. I couldn't do with the composition of gasses around the planet being much different than it is, and worry quite a bit that soon I will have to.

Thing three

The thoughts of other people. I can only use my own thoughts for so long before they get all dusty and worn, so have to go a-stealing on a frequent basis.

Thing four

Long sleeps. I do love a nice long sleep.

Thing five

A belief in my generation. I think we're mostly terrible for not feeling that we have the ability to speak about what our future is going to be, and often lack a sense of ownership over the world where we're going to end up living. That's bad, and it's something that I think needs to be spoken out about so that more of us can begin to articulate what kind of future we want to end up seeing.

Thing six

Eggs. It's a horrible life, a life without eggs.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
a mixture of politics and new video games which I'd like to invent. I can't really influence either the political or video gamical spheres, but I try not to let this get me down too much.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing board games or watching Lois and Clark. I was going to write an apology for this, but I shouldn't, really, I love my Friday nights.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I made up three seasons of Doctor Who in my head and secretly think they are amazing.
