My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi there. Mark here. I'm a bookworm/engineer/veteran/all around nice guy. When I do good I feel good. When I do bad I feel bad... I tend to stay away from the bad.

I also do a little parkour on the side. Not enough to get sponsored or anything. Just enough to keep the hours spent in the lab from collecting on my bum. And, I dunno, maybe escape a zombie or two... Or, the clan or something... Excuse me, I'm getting off subject.

Hey, look. A bunny:
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Tinker mouse by trade. Basically I play with lab equipment -Centrifuges, cryostats, analyzers- until it works or starts to do something more interesting.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh, usually at my own expense.

Rhythm and percussion....

Fixing broken stuff... Breaking fixed stuff.

The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
"Holy smokes! It's a negro!"

Books: Currently reading- 30 Arduino projects for the evil genius

Music: It's hard to answer the music question without sounding like a snob/elitist. People tend to fire off a slew of band names as if the musical exploits of others make THEM more unique through proxy. Then again what medium do people NOT do that with?

:End Sarcasm:

.........Hmm.. I think I lost my train of thought. What was I talking about again?? Anywho, here's some of my favorite bands: Radiohead, Lupe Fiasco (Be sure to check out his side project, 'Japanese Cartoon'), Handsome Boy Modeling School, Little Dragon, AC/DC, N.E.R.D., NUJABES. Seriously though, stop what you're doing and go look for an album by Nujabes called 'Modal Soul'.

TV/Netflix: Futurama, The I.T. Crowd, Community, The Big Bang Theory (Sigh, It grew on me), How it's Made.

Movies: Comedies. Or movies so bad they can be considered comedies. The former being Saving Silverman, the latter being Cabin Fever. So delightfully bad.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family, friends, parkour, good food, music, and the number six.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to mathematically convert the horse power of a car into gerbil power... The merits of a see-through toaster... Why no one has invented a foldable surfboard ... Where all the women who like black guys are hiding... Whatever happened to the Toadies... If every action has an equal and opposite reaction then did the big bang DESTROY a universe... Why most profiles tend to break down into a series of horizontal lists...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Building stuff I find on Metacafe or building things in general. Catching up with my new best friend, the kindle.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once did a Chinese Fire Drill and locked myself out of the car.

Glasses are a plus. Big brown eyes are a plus. Personality trumps all.

Oh! Or if you're more than 90% my enemy. I'd like to do battle. Something fun, like laser tag or chess...
