What I’m doing with my life

Books: Drawn to fiction mostly, everything from Kurt Vonnegut, Chuck Palahniuk, Michael Crichton, Philip K. Dick, and George R.R. Martin. After reading through the Walking Dead series I've started exploring more graphic novels and try to balance out the fiction with enough Dawkins and Hawking and current events to stay grounded.

Movies: Sometimes my childish side wins out but the films I like the most are those from Wes Anderson, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick, and Kevin Smith. Then there's the awful movies I've come to love, like the inappropriate family member I never had. It's nice to appreciate the good and the bad but The Princess Bride is one of the most perfect movies of all time.

Shows: Let's just continue with listing the more cultured side of things I like and neglect to mention the awesome cartoons that are out there. Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Boardwalk Empire, True Detective, Orange is the New Black and many other shows are serious business and with more artistic integrity than most current movies.

Music: Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Black Keys, Ratatat, The Misfits, and Wu-Tang for the short version.

Food: I have a pretty widespread taste but am a firm believer that breakfast is an acceptable option for any meal.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What animals would say if they could speak.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out somewhere with bad lighting and good music or in with friends and movies. Started a semi-weekly 'drinking and disney' night which has recently become more of a tasteful evening of bad films and beer.
