I am funny, intelligent, and driven.
My Self-Summary
Hmmmmmm...I grew up in a small town in Gwinnett County. I went to
Vanderbilt for undergrad. I just graduated this year and now go to
Emory for
Public
Health. I live in midtown and while I work as a
photographer I would
REALLY love a job closer to my apartment. I now have a cat which I
never though would happen. I was hoping to have a Bernese Mountain
Dog by now, but lawns
only exist in the most and least expensive part of town. I tried
the least expensive and it was catastrophic. So now I have a cat.
But I love all animals so it's great. I'm not sure what else to
say. I'm easy going. I don't really plan things, I just come to a
fork in the road and make a decision.
I've never been that driven, but I seem to achieve great things.
This is mainly because I don't like letting people down and I'm
afraid of not reaching my potential. Really, I don't care what I do
in life or how much money I make, as long as I'm not in debt, not
alone, and I can have as many dogs as I want.
I also expanded this section to achieve 500 words 50% profile
completion but I think I failed. Damn.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently in Graduate School in Atlanta for Public Health. Not sure
exactly what I want to do with it, but I love the field and want to
do everything I can to improve people's and animals' lives.
I’m really good at
Photography, math, standardized tests, procrastinating, interacting
with animals.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor. It either makes you laugh or makes you angry. I
laugh at inappropriate things, because I think if you can laugh at
something that should make you upset, then it doesn't really have
any power over you. Also, I tend to be incredibly cynical in my
sense of humor. However, this is juxtaposed with my extreme
optimism.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: 1984, Dante's Divine Comedy, Water for Elephants, Lord of
the Flies, Crime and Punishment, The Picture of Dorian Grey,
ANYTHING by Vonnegut
Movies: Batman Returns, Dark Knight, Happy Go Lucky, Smiley Face,
Thank You for Smoking, Scrooge, basically I love superhero movies,
comedies, and horror movies.
The six things I could never do without
My dog, my family, comic books, ipod, camera, books.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Evolution vs. liberalism and the difference between right and
wrong, and whether it matters and whether there is a higher power
and why we're here, etc...I also spend a lot of time thinking about
the things I know I've done wrong, and whether it's possible to fix
them, or whether they actually need to be fixed....
On a typical Friday night I am
Lately, I've been either working or hanging out with my wonderful
roommate and kitten, though it's bothering me because I hate
staying in.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I love just about anything and everything having to do with
superheroes. While I don't attend conventions or let this rule my
life, people usually find out about this around the second or third
time they meet me. But who doesn't love at least one superhero?
You should message me if
You want to.
