I'm fascinated by the world and people in it. I absolutely love learning about new cultures, getting to know people and what makes them tick. I'm the sort of person that will read up on random things that I find interesting.
I have a great passion for my volunteer work as a Counsellorand love the feeling I get from making a difference to somebody.

I started going back to the gym recently after losing 10 stone/140 pounds over the last 19 months and am really enjoying keeping that weight off :)
I'm also working in a warehouse so I can continue my counselling work around it. There is a good amount of autonomy in the job, which is rather nice. My next working goal is to become self-employed as a counsellor by my 27th birthday in 2014.
I've taken up Archery already this year and after a recent visit to Malta I'm extremely tempted to take up rock climbing.

I'm a great listener. I often find myself as the person people turn to when they need to talk or have had a bad day, and I tend to have a very soothing, calming effect on people.
I'm also an adventurous cook. I love experimenting with spices and my cheesecake gets rave reviews.

General consensus is that people first notice that I have a friendly, kind looking face or that I have big, brown eyes.
When it comes to my personality people tend to notice that I'm a warm, kind and welcoming person.

Space! I'm fascinated by the countless mysteries that are left for humanity to discover and I can find myself sat for hours reading about space, space exploration and space related technologies if I let myself get caught up in it.
I'm very excited about the existence of Mars One.

My days off work currently are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. I try to relax or do something fun on these days.
I find myself happiest when in good company, playing board games, out for a drink or in a field staring up at the sky!

That custard creams and barbeque sauce are not a bad combination in a pinch.
