I am 5'10", 185lbs, of European origin, inquisitive, creative, healthy, in a reasonably good shape. In my previous life, I had a fulfilling and successful career in computer field. Now, I'm semi-retired, active in photography and publishing.

Instead of watching other people chase a puck or a ball, I'd rather get going myself - my interests range from swimming, hiking, canoeing to scouting for new and interesting photo compositions. I love nature - from puttering in my backyard to walking in the forest or along a coastal trail. Usually, I keep busy, but I value also quiet times. My schedule is relatively flexible, and I'm open to new ideas, new destinations and new experiences.

When it comes to travel, although I've been around, I really like the northern hemisphere (and that includes Florida). I prefer French River to Champs-Elysées, icebergs to pyramids, wide spaces in Alaska and Newfoundland to crowded streets in Hongkong or Mumbai, and Wild West to Far East. Ideally, nature destinations with clear water within three to four hours are my absolute preference. Running white-water rapids and black diamond ski slopes don't hold the same allure as they once used to, but I still like to paddle my canoe and get out on the skiis.

I am seeking a sensual, sincere, intelligent lady for friendship or a longterm relationship. Happy nature, calm disposition, affinity for outdoors, ability and willingness to genuinely connect, and desire for occasional travel would be good pre-requisites to share companionship and intimacy. For me, sincerity and good communication are essential for a good relationship. I'd like to express to you my feelings, wants, and all kinds of other thoughts, and I will also listen to your desires, feelings, and concerns. Good communication includes also physical contact, anything from touching, holding hands, and sensuous playing. We'll have plenty to talk while we walk, hike, cook together, or take long drives.

When I had my first car - a red Citroen 2CV (2 cylinders, 16HP, top speed 95 km/h), the drivers in the oncoming lane usually noticed that there was always a long line of cars behind me, especially when going uphill (I drive faster cars now). That's off the topic, but that little car took me through half Europe, from St. Tropez through Swiss Alps all the way to the Arctic Circle.

At one time, Adventure meant a trip by VW van from Gibraltar across Africa to Cape Town or a canoe trip down the Nahanni River, and Average female weight was 125 lbs. Nowadays, even a respectable outfit, such as this one, pins you down as an Adventurer if you answer eating out occassionally in an Indian restaurant, and an average female weight starts at 150 lbs. I was going to say something like - sitting in front of crackling fire and drinking champagne or walking barefoot at a moonlit beach, but wouldn't you believe, there is a whole group of people from the prairies, who already beat me to it.

Since I don't have to put up with 9-to-5 regime five days a week, my schedule is relatively flexible, and every Friday might be different. I could be at home catching up with news, reading or writing, editing photographs from the last trip, cooking up the storm, whirling you on the dance floor, or I could be hundreds of miles away on some deserted highway, trying to get to some special place next morning.

I just realized, that I made a grave error when entering my income. But what the heck, one or two zeroes shouldn't make much difference. On the other hand, my age, height and weight are spot-on.
One more thing! I mistrust portly restaurant chefs. Come to think of it, I am not so sure about overly thin cooks, either.
