My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
See everything down below - I already wrote too much as it is!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I figured out early on that if you work just a little, you'll get by. Imagine my surprise when I saw how far I got by working just a little bit harder. I try to remind myself of this with everything I do.

My pictures do present my musical persona but like most musicians, I have a day job. Trust me, pics of me jamming are a lot more interesting than pics of me driving my desk all day. I also have a business that I'm trying to grow. I keep busy working hard to achieve an ideal but everyday I wonder what that ideal is b/c it seems to change all the time. For now, I'm just thankful that I'm able to pay my mortgage, that both my parents are still around, and be able to claim skills that have enabled me to play all nine Beethoven symphonies.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm more of a jack of all trades, master of none. As a musician, we're sorta forced into figuring out how things work (because budgetary concerns force creativity). That's why most of us are multi-talented & multi-taskers! But the regular stuff? Aside from being fairly nimble in the kitchen, I also know how to change the oil, a flat tire, AND the fan belt on my car. The fact that I'm a girl was no deterrent to my father teaching me things. I also like to whip up batches of chocolate truffles with interesting flavors. They're great conversation starters when you get invited to potluck dinner/parties.

I'm plenty good at other things but maybe you'd need to ask me about those separately. =)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My firm handshake. I've no respect for women who can't greet properly and neither should you.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

BOOKS: Honestly? I'm too busy doing music to be doing much recreational reading. I tend to fall asleep with them in hand, something about having to be still in order to concentrate. The last good book I read was "Mortality," by Christopher Hitchens. He was a brilliant man that was taken from this world much too soon.

MOVIES: Cinema Paradiso - my first flick to hook me onto foreign films

TV SHOWS: too many, but I justify them all by viewing only when on my treadmill (like I said, I'm a multi-tasker). The Walking Dead makes me wonder if I'm appreciative enough of what I have (and if any of my friends would actually be useful in such a setting). Gossiping and coffee drinking don't seem like very useful apocalyptic skills.

MUSIC: The good stuff - Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Elvis (rockabilly AND jumpsuit Elvis...) . Basically, anything with a good beat. And yes, any variety of classical music falls in with my favor.

FOOD: I like it all, though I veer towards the vegetarian. Ethnic food is great, I like spice in my eats!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) First and foremost, FAMILY.
2) Friends that I consider family
3) Music - it just changes how your soul relates to others.
4) Hot Rollers: I'm not shallow, but good hair really does complete an outfit.
5) French fries: they're great for munching while driving home from gigs.
6) Ibuprofen, the cure for many a dumb mistake.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The idea of how "wireless connection" actually works. And this new thing called "the cloud." I just don't get it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
out and about... but not like you think. I'm usually playing a gig of some sort, or out watching some of my colleagues perform.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Don't let the easy smile fool you. Beneath the floozy hair lies a brain that's always thinking and planning ahead.
