I am one, no one, and one-hundred-thousand.
My Self-Summary
I'll try to make this seem effortless, and slightly charming. Maybe
it's best if you'd get yourself a drink...I'll wait here.
5 minutes later:
I have a tendency to mesh words together, and/or blank out a
lot-It's a sort of absentmindedness that occurs when my brain is
going a million thoughts per second. It makes for an interesting
show, really. At least a lot of my friends tend to find it
amusing...
I also have a tendency to curse like a sailor at times. It really
confuses people who assume I'm sweet and innocent. I can be badass
when I want.
I can be incredibly random at times, and I'm perfectly fine with
it.
I'm not completely detached from reality, I'm sort of an insouciant
realist: keeping one foot firmly on the ground while the rest of me
is spinning wildly.
I've lived abroad in Italy and England, (yes I'm fluent in both
Italian and English) and spent some time in Seattle, too (there's
no regional language there, except maybe for Cobainian [of the Kurt
clan]). I just like being out on the road. Even if it means riding
a donkey to reach a town in rural Portugal (I named him
Pablo).
So there you go. Interpret it how you will.
What I’m doing with my life
Graduated
UCLA back
in '08, and I was at the brink of moving to the East Coast to
pursue my PhD in Literature, but decided against it (and again just
recently for this coming School Year).
I worked in Film Development and Production as an Assistant/ Script
Editor for two bigshot producers. It was awesome while it lasted,
but I'm looking for something bigger now.
I'm not doing anything substantial to change the world, let alone
win a Nobel prize...but, Im keeping busy.
I’m really good at
Coming off far more witty and clever than I initially intend
to.
I'm prone to making awkward noises during awkward moments to make
things extra awkward.
But apart from that, I'm pretty good at picking up languages. I'm
in the process of learning Russian, and brushing up on
Sign-Language.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been getting a lot of compliments for my hair recently (even
random strangers stroking my hair). It's a bit awkward, but
whatever. Im letting my hair grow out so i can donate it. I donated
15" earlier this year, and plan to do the same early this new year.
Hopefully the shock of being buzzed won't be as tough the second
time around
---
Also, I tend to look slightly serious at times-I do it as a
precautionary measure because, when I smile, people instantly see
my dimples and feel compelled to pinch my cheeks.
People also notice the tattoo on my wrist-then go to great lengths
to figure out what it means. It's both interesting and annoying.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I've shortened this list quite a bit. So as you can see, in
addition to the various aforementioned qualities I posses , I am
relatively incapable of making short lists of things.
(I would like to point out that I'm not nearly as pretentious as my
list of books might imply. I was-and still am--a literature
geek)

My Goals
The undying curiosity to find the sixth 'thing' I could never do
without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The questions that can only be answered through experience, and the
reality of life...
The lingering scent of fabric softener...
...if that cute guy barrista was flirting or just fishing for tips.
On a typical Friday night I am
It largely depends on who I am with at that moment. Some times, I
just veg out watching The History Channel, or maybe even contribute
to the rapid deterioration to my liver with cheap wine and good
friends.
But I'm completely open to suggestions.
I try to make Fridays as atypical as possible-and what better way,
than with new friends! (hint hint)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Sometimes, I get a little too much pleasure out of cleaning my ears
with Qtips.
You should message me if
You've made it this far, and weren't completely bored with my
nonsensical ramblings.
Also, if you don't think I'm a complete loser, that'd be
great.
Just do it.
