My self-summary
If I were a dog, people would adore me. I'm well behaved, chubby, relatively friendly and I don't have fleas. I'm basically a Golden Retriever.

I'm a simple person with a complicated mind.

One day, you will find me at a rock show, taking pretty cool pictures from the front row. The next day? A marathon of Sci-Fi, Fantasy and overall fanboyism!

Part withdrawn, part social butterfly mixed with dashes of unwarranted self doubt and an unusual sence of humor, among many other things.

I don't smoke pot, nor am I 420 friendly. Anyone who views that as an important part of their life should just stop reading now.

I am loyal, monogamous and honest; not the type to play games. I don't keep people around me who can't say the same. Not looking to hook up, have a fling or anything of that nature.
What I’m doing with my life
I have been working for my current employer for eight years now, so that about covers my professional side.

On the personal side, I am working on becoming more outgoing and social, especially when women are introduced to the situation.
I’m really good at
Being big, more specifically, lifting heavy stuff and getting things that are out of reach of most people.

More than servicable in the kitchen.

I get a lot of people to laugh when I make jokes. Some groans, too...
The first things people usually notice about me
Other than being a wall of a man? I have a quick wit and a sharp tongue.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I prefer Fantasy and Science Fiction. Dean Koontz and Stephen King are my consistent favorites.

Movies: Science Fiction and Fantasy mixed with action and adventure. Book of Eli, I am Legend, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Terminator, Lord of the Rings and such. I also enjoy gritty, violent movies such as Pulp Fiction, Boondock Saints, 3:10 to Yuma, and Leon: The Professional.

Music: Generally Hard Rock and Metal, but I also listen to a lot of Alternative, Post Hardcore, some Country and some Hip Hop/Rap/R&B. I have a soft spot for acoustic songs and songs with strings arrangements mixed in.

Seriously; think I have a problem. I have seen nearing 200 bands live. When not listening to music, I'm thinking about it, searching for new bands or perfecting my dream rock festival lineup. Go ahead and ask if you're curious!

TV: TV is often just background noise for me, so usually whatever is on the History channel or ESPN. When I make it a point to watch, it is generally shows like Doctor Who, Big Bang Theory, Under The Dome, Agents of Shield, The Soup, Archer, or Ghost Adventures. I watch a fair amount of sports, mainly the local teams. The Mariners were my first love, and they have hurt me every year for the last 20 years, but I find myself forgiving them every spring and letting them back into my life! I am not joking when I say I watch at least 100 games a year.

Food: I generally avoid mushrooms, tomatoes and anything slimy; such as oysters, clams or mussels. Other than that, I'll try just about anything once.
The six things I could never do without
1. Music keeps me sane.
2. Something to read; be it digital or physical.
3. Laughter. My sence of humor is dark and often dry.
4. My few close friends.
5. Good food
6. Modern technology. We're all dependent; sadly.

That's it?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. My brain is a cluster of crossed wires and short circuits. I have a hard time keeping track of smaller things at times, but rarely forget the big ones.

I have a thing for numbers and wordplay, so they take up a lot of space in my head. Something about solid, concrete concepts.
On a typical Friday night I am
Fridays usually consist of bad television and an easy dinner, just to help decompress from the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Honestly? I have a hard time believing anyone could find me attractive.
You should message me if
If you like big, cuddly guys.
