My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! I like my eggs runny, my days sunny, and my nights funny. I am a happy adventurer looking for my male counterpart to share the beauty of this world with. I grew up on a farm in KY and I have worked in the printing industry, music industry, boating industry, wall street, and been a government civilian.

I do not own a TV or a microwave by choice. I try to eat as much organic or locally grown food as possible. I do enjoy eating out. I love nature. I hate what colonization and greed have done to the Indigenous people of the world, it affects us all because we lose out on what ancient cultures could teach us about living in harmony with Mother Earth. There are more than enough resources for us all to live happy, healthy lives, yet certain people are so greedy they want to buy up all the land and make slaves out of the rest of us. That is not what Creator intended and it makes me very sad for all who must struggle in poverty. Until there is equality, there will be no balance to life on this planet.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Transcending into my Divine Self and i hope you are too! Retired and getting to know myself better. Creating a more beautiful world in my minds eye and as a place to go in the future.

Serve on the Board of Directors for New Mexico Legal Aid and volunteer with Cafe (Communities in Action & Faith) - a non-profit that empowers people to stand up and fight for their rights.

Writing a book, doing drumming circles and sweat lodges and studying about Native American ways and learning to live in harmony with Mother Earth (Gaia).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Spending hours in front of the computer.

Watching the birds and knowing that the universe provides for them, and logically, will provide for humans as long as we work with nature, instead of against her.

Books: 1. The Milagro Beanfield War, 2. Travis McGee series by John D. MacDonald, 3. A few that friends have written, 4. Daily Word every morning - like to stay positive!, 5. New Age/Self Help, 6. Biographies/Autobiographies, 7. Almost anything that is well written. A good book is hard to beat.

Movies: Bowfinger (love the humor of Steve Martin), Jerry Miguire (this movie says it all), and most Westerns (love horses). Be Cool, Get Shorty, Big Bounce - basically any Elmore Lenord adaptation. Usual Suspects, Avatar, Surfer Dude. Most Cohen Brothers movies. Also have to give a nod to Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction) - he's out there and I can be too! Laughed my ass off at Walk Hard, The Dewey Cox Story.

Art: The Barnes collection is the best gallery showing I've ever witnessed. It has only traveled three times from Philadelphia and I got to see it in Ft. Worth. Amazing F _ _ king show. The largest private collection of the French Impressionist painters and includes my all time favorite artist, Pierre-Auguste Renoir...wonderful!

Shows: NYC Ballet at Lincoln Center in New York City, Peter Frampton in concert late 70s/early 80s, Frank Sinatra review at Carnegie Hall, The show about Trains where they're all on rollerblades - saw that in Miami. Fourth of July on Clear Lake, TX from cockpit of sailboat - awesome! A Parade in Cozumel back in the mid 80s that me and some friends happily joined in and had a blast!

Music: My favorite music is soulful, guitar slamming blues - makes me feel real good! Especially if you add a little keyboard, some harmonica, a little fiddle and some nice slow, low bass. Listen to about everything though, was a music major for one semester. Love Bob Marley, Hank Williams Sr., Bluegrass, Classic Rock, Alternative, anything with soul and feeling that you can drown in - if its done well, I'll probably like it. Listening to French music today on iTunes.

Food: Don't think I could live without Hatch Green Chili. Love Asian, Mexican, Southern, Seafood, Gourmet and willing to try new stuff. And, I'm a pretty good cook.
The six things I could never do without

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to make the world a better place to live for ALL creatures big and small. That includes Hamsters.
And rocks. I love rocks. And feathers. And the wonders of nature. How Creator made this awesome world for me & you to enjoy. Thanks Mother/Father God! You Rock!
How much I enjoyed sailing in my younger years, to me there's nothing better than a 20 knot wind, a 4 foot wave and Bob Marley on the rasta box. Enjoyed exploring Yucatan, Mexico from a sail boat. Best years of my life. Lot's of good memories. But, hey, there is more adventure left in my soul and I look forward to whatever unfolds. Salute!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I have a Warren Buffett sorta social life, "If everyone else is doing it, then I ain't, and if no one else is, then I'm intrigued."

Witnessing a friend's creativity in some form. Watch a movie - since I sold my TV's I watch movies on my computer (netflix). Video games. Hanging out with my dog. Just whatever comes up really.

Snakes don't bother me as much as bugs/spiders do. Spiders freak me out, so don't get any ideas 'cause I will have a heart attack.

If you are an intelligent and thoughtful man who enjoys life and has respect for mother nature. If you want a friend. If you can cook and enjoy eating out sometimes. If you like movies, hiking, yard work (being outdoors w/a purpose), day trips, wilderness trips and good music. Oh, and also the prerequisite sense of humor. Anyway, let me know if you think you could possibly be the man of my dreams.
