My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Life is an adventure and I'm here to make the most of it. I'm looking for people who are actively looking for what's around the corner and to learn more about the world. Friends or more than friends, people are just fascinating...Im just looking for great travel companions, thinkers and dreamers, and nature can just figure it out for us.

If interesting conversation about topics we feel strongly about and may or may not disagree on interests you, read on! I've never met a stranger and im looking for the same in a relationship partner, but I enjoy introverts as close friends. Also, I don't trust people who don't like dessert. It's criminal. And I don't believe people who say they don't like Star Wars. Im not a huge sci fi person really, it's just that those movies are so classic. John Hughes movies from the 80s are the best. I sang opera at one point and my first role was as a chorus zombie (true story). My bike is named Gwendolyn. I spend hours shopping for groceries sometimes just wandering around the store. The Dekalb Farmers Market is basically just the mother ship calling me home :-). I really love the quirkier parts of people's personalities, their imperfections and what makes them distinct. Sometimes this makes other folks uncomfortable because it's something they assume I'm exploiting as a weakness, when really I just love them for all the things they truly are.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently switching career paths from being a professional musician for 13 years to moving into arts administration. I took a detour into food for a bit, but decided my skill set was better utilized back in the arts. I work at a local arts nonprofit and I couldn't be happier with my windy, somewhat non-traditional career trajectory! It's landed me exactly where I'm supposed to be!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
TalkIng to people, empathy, cooking the most badass sweet potato ravioli with mushroom sage sauce that you've never had, holding my own in any situation, learning things. I worked for a long time in food retail and the service industry as a day job and even did some time back of the house for a bit. Consequently, I have very strong opinions about food. Also, it's true that I generally have very strong opinions, but I'd love to get in your head and truly understand if mine differ from yours.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I worked a lot of weekends until fairly recently so, I have no idea what I'd do on a Friday! There's a good chance It involves enjoying great food and drinks or hanging out at home in my own kitchen. It could also involve a dive bar and darts. I also try to attend as many concerts, performances art shows and generally cool events as possible. My good friend also likes to attend theater pretty regularly and often brings me along.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm actively changing my perspective on how I view my own success to embody a more positive, less results oriented point of view. Also, I'm as genuine as they come and I have ADHD something fierce.
