My self-summary
I embrace life and love people from all walks in life and lifestyles. I set aside my prejudices in favor of treating every human being with dignity and respect.

I love to meet people to discover what moves them in life, what's their passion and learn from each and everyone.

I'm a recent transplant to the DC area. I love the city, and I'm thrilled to experiment what the city and its inhabitants have to offer!
What I’m doing with my life
Trying not to take life so seriously... and learning, creating, making mistakes, iterating... also overseeing health/dev programs in Latin America and francophone Africa!
I’m really good at
Making people smile :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know... My smile? Perhaps my nonchalance? Or my spontaneous panache? Oh! I know... My newly grey hairs!

I love music! Coltrane, Davis, Mingus, Astake, Scofield, Thelonius Monk, Medeski Martin & Wood, Beethoven, Bach, Korsakov, Devorak, Bartok, Phillip Glass, Pixies, Ryan Adams, Stones, QOTSA, Radiohead, Air, Massive Attack, Portishead, Chemicals Bros, Soda Stereo, and many many more...

Food: I love to discover new cuisines & flavors, scents, shapes... I won't say no to food and I'm always looking try something new. Always accepting restaurant recommendations & invitations to dinner parties.

Books: short- stories! Whether it's Cortazar, Borges, Sedaris, Maupassant... I keep a book on my night stand - now it's ~Sex at dawn~ (not an erotic novel though) and my Portuguese for dummies book.

- my next adventure
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing it by ear
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
And that I thought that Niger and Nigeria were the same country! (i know : /) & I get really confused by logistic regression on SAS and the partial separation of point statement!
