My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey, I'm Alex. I'm a loud spoken, often hilarious, person who loves adventure, socializing and experiencing things outside my comfort zone while taking none of it seriously.

I've also had this OKC profile since it was sparkmatch forever ago, and as such have evolved and changed since I sat down bored and went through all my available questions. People change as they get older an I just don't have the time to go through everything and re-answer. If you want to strike up a conversation, do it. I dislike internet small talk but I love actually conversing with people.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently a bartender/barback for a few places in SF. I love what I do even if it's at time, hectic. I love facilitating people having a great time, whether it's playing music, bar tending or conversing with strangers.

My current hobby is exploring the bay and finding new places, though my favorite spot at the moment is at the top of the Mountain View Cemetery. If you've never been, you need to.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Everything if I put my mind to it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm tall, friendly and pour a good drink.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My sense of humor and ability to not let stuff get me down.

2. Curry, the hotter the better.

3. Music and art.

4. My travelin' boots. Seriously, these are the most comfortable pair of shoes in the world. Well worth the investment.

5. A partner in crime. A life of fantastic tales doesn't mean much if you don't have a group to share it with.

6. Punctuation. I'd imagine it would be quite hard to communicate without it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My "3 wishes" because you can never trust a wish granting
omnipotent ethereal who has been trapped in a oil lamp or other
device for who knows how long. I also spend a lot of time thinking
about weird gadgets that serve no real purose aside from putting a dent in my wallet. I also think about social interaction a lot. I find human minds to be interesting lil things to poke at. Lastly, I spend a lot of time scheming.

Also thinking about what language I should learn if I want to travel to a foreign country.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm probably working since I'm in the night life industry. My free time is usually in the day, which I spend running around like a crazy person. Now, MY 'Friday' is usually a Monday, in which I spend it hanging out with my friends or breaking in somewhere abandoned.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a "burner" but hate burning man. Truth be told, I only go because I enjoy the camping aspect. I work the event, so I get to go for basically free which is my main motivator. I get out there two weeks before everyone else and leave a week after and only really enjoy my time out there before the douche canoe groups show up. I grew up in the dessert, so it's feels like where I grew up, which I can't put a price on. Plus the crew I run with brings an experience that is a total 180 from all the other hippie stuff that saturates it, so that's a plus.

You want me to drag you off to a local a nifty place and explore the insane, but beautiful world in which we live. You'd like someone to cook with and trade recipes. And lastly, if you want to either share stories about being a traveler or want someone to go on an adventure with. I'd also like to learn an instrument and maybe start a terrible, drunken, folk punk band. So if you are down for that, it would be awesome.
