My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Here are a few things about me: I love Arizona (The amazing Fall/Winter/Spring weather more than makes up for the sweltering heat of the summer). I do a movie podcast with some buddies and we have a decent following of about 2-4 listeners every week (Aren't Moms the best?) I’m very open to trying new things and I’m in a spot where I’m branching well out of my comfort zone. I’ve recently tried stuff like Yoga and Meditation which is 100% the opposite of something I ever pictured myself doing (I found it to be both very relaxing and also SUPER weird).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a sub-contractor and do work all over the valley during the day. I get to meet some very interesting people and no two days are ever the same, so it keeps me on my toes.

I have also recently rediscovered my love for hiking in this great state. Over the past month I've been up to Flagstaff, Payson, and Sedona to get some great hikes under my belt. I'm planning a rim-to-rim Grand Canyon hike next summer as well as getting to the top of Mt. Humphreys. Once I've got those two under my belt I'll start working my way towards more notable hikes around the country.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm great at drunk karaoke. So good in fact, that I only got boo'd once while singing "Let it Go," at a dive bar.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite Movies include: Saving Private Ryan, anything by Darren Aronofsky or Wes Anderson, The Raid/The Raid 2, Much Ado About Nothing (the Joss Whedon version).
Favorite Music: Any movie scores my Clint Mansell, Sturgill Simpson, Tim Barry, City and Colour, Lucero, Austin Lucas, The White Buffalo.
Favorite Shows: Scrubs, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Smallville, Entourage,
Favorite Books: So I was literally the target audience for the Harry Potter series when it was first released (I was 9 years old and living in England at the time), so those books will forever have a place on my shelf. I am currently reading the "Wayward Pines" trilogy with "The Martian," on deck.
Favorite Food: I love almost all foods. To give you a better idea, here is a comprehensive list of foods I WON’T eat: mushrooms and octopus.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My Dog
2) Mountains to hike
3) Purpose
4) Goals
5) Music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think about moving around the country a lot. Although I love it here in Phoenix, the itch to pack it all up and move to a new city, state, country, hits me about once a year. Typically, I satisfy that itch by traveling somewhere new, remembering just how much I hate freezing cold temperatures, and then returning home to a 60-70 degree winter.

Waffles > Pancakes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Grabbing a beer with friends. Maybe having a game night or going to a concert. If I've got an early morning hike planned for Saturday, I'll typically get my pack ready and crash out early so I'm fully rested.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you know any good hiking trails around the state,
if you know of any cool spots to grab a beer downtown, and/or
if you can handle bad singing when I get drunk, because it happens.
