"Naked" by David Sedaris. Nice read! Tom Wolfe "The Bonfire Of The
Vanities". I have read "A Man In Full" by Wolfe a while ago. "The
Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out Of The Window And
Disappeared", "The second coming" by John Niven, "Haroun and the
sea of stories" by Salman Rushdie are some of my favourites. I
recently read "The grapes of wrath" - made me think of how some

I will read a good book also in german if someone I trust recomends
it, but I mostly read english books to prevent my english from
Movies: Been in "Timbuktu" which touched me, I've seen "The return
of Django" and enjoyed it. And if someone suggests a decent movie,
I happily hop along to cinema. I like comedy and action, but
sometimes, a romantic movie can get me. I really loved Angel-A.
Quentin Tarantino is always a safe bet for a good movie.
Music: Jazz, Blues, Ethno/World-Music. Some names: Dr. John, Dianne
Reeves, Jason Mraz, Bruno Mars, Sarah Vaughn, Steve Miller, Ricky
Lee Jones, Taj Mahall, Diana Krall, Jamie Cullum...
there's a lot more. I can't think of all the names. I prefer
"handmade" to electronically generated. It's got to have soul, it's
great when the lyrics are clever, too.
Food: Indian, italian, there's a Phillipino place 'round the corner
does something they call "asian breakfast", Heinz Baked Beans,
Marmite, Bovril, fromage frais (just looked it up, the german word
is "Quark") mixed with olive oil and salt, and potato to go with it
- delicious and no fuss at all! Sometimes I crave for meat, and
then I like a good filet-steak or I'll have chicken curry.
