I've been working overseas for a while with some trips back to the US. I was in the Turks & Caicos Islands for three and a half years working at a university level school. And before that I was working in Haiti but I broke my leg mid December 2010. It was tough work but I loved it cause I was making a difference.
I'm from Athens, TN. But I have lived and worked around the world. I enjoy travelling but most of my travelling has been for work. I've been all over western and southern Africa some for work some for fun.
I've done a lot of odd work and I'm pretty good at fixing stuff but I'm even better at fixing unbroken stuff until it is broken.
I was Peace Corps Volunteer in Guinea.
Life is a lot of fun and I try to get the most out of every day.
Want to know anything about applying to the Peace Corps or Francophone Africa fire away I'm an open book.
I work on just about anything. I tinker with stuff all the time, I'm never out of arms reach of some kind of tool. If it's broke I can fix it.
I've been on a pretty strict diet and work out routine for a while so I've lost some weight from when those pictures were take. I've grown a beard to try and keep warm but I'm not sure about it. Also no more soft drinks, I might have a Coke once or twice a month, but they aren't a staple food anymore.
I also have a car problem. I've been building a BMW to race for a while and I do love it. I've got a couple more cars rattling around here and there but that M3 is what I've been dealing with the most.
B. Lots of stuff, I'll watch just about anything.
C. CAKE, Old Crow Medicine Show, AC/DC, Stevie Wonder, Moby, Billy Joel, Dawn Penn, Easystar All-stars, Pink Floyd, Townes Van Zandt, old rap, really just about anything.
D. Not too particular. Rice and Sauce. I'll eat just about anything you put in front of me, but I love spicy stuff, lots of 'ethnic' foods cause they are spicy. Chicken salad sandwich on wheat with a touch of spicy mustard is my standard lunch. I also cook pretty well, I can make just about anything from scratch but pasta and some breads. But every now and then I need a schwarma, and there's only one good place in Knoxville for schwarma.
