I enjoy hunting, fishing and playing golf though I have not had too much time for any of these activities lately. As of lately, I have been pretty busy with work so my time for dating has been limited. Some friends recommended that I try this site. I am looking for the woman of my dreams to share and enjoy life with. I have pretty good idea of who she is, I just have not found her yet. I have not been searching very long and I feel like I am a patient person, so I am definitely willing to wait. I am confident that when the timing is right our paths will cross. I envision our only regret is that we did not find each other sooner. I want to experience a true lasting love that grows stronger and deeper with each passing day. A love that is endless where time continues to prove us wrong over and over again on an earlier notion when we thought we could not possibly love each other more. Someone to miss and be missed by when we are away. Eventually, I want to be the elderly couple who still holds hands in public.

I am a firm believer in the axiom that ‘if it’s meant to be it will work itself out’ and if it’s not then you probably don’t want it anyway – though this may not seem readily apparent in the present. Having said that, I believe in working hard to achieve your goals and have always been a believer that anything in life worth having requires hard work and persistence.

Humor is my sixth sense, so my potential match must be able to appreciate a good joke (or at least a good attempt). And yes, occasionally I may say something that is cheesy (i.e., a botched attempt to apply humor) in these RARE moments a courtesy laugh is a major plus!! I’m really kidding…

I do not go to bars, clubs and other places like that. I am content staying at home on the weekend unless there is someplace to go. I don’t have anything against doing these things; it’s just not something I enjoy. If you are looking for someone that does enjoy going out to the club and doing things like that, it would save us both time if we continue searching. If this sounds boring to you then you will most likely be bored with me.

Music: I can appreciate most any type of music. Most of the time my radio is tuned to either a country station or NPR. (Is that a weird combination?) I wish I could play the guitar; someday I plan to learn.

1) I am a news junkie, so this means I watch or read some form of news everyday
2) I enjoy working outside in the yard

4) I sang bass back in my high school chorus days (hey… it was cool back then)
