My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a pretty opened minded and laid back guy. I like wearing old suits and ties and rocking them with my Chuck Taylors. I love playing guitar and uke and I love to sing. Music is at the center of my life. It is my heart and soul. I enjoy doing all sorts of crafts and am in to DIY. I'm inwardly nerdy, and kind of shy around new people.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Motivating my self for change. Strongly considering going back to school. Always wondering what the fuck life's all about. Playing music, hanging out with friends, making new friends and being awesome!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I like to think I'm decent at playing the guitar. I write songs that people seem to enjoy.
I'm pretty good at getting the better of people by making altercations to history, or making up fake trivia. Once one gets used to my devious ways, however, they start noticing the smirk on my face, and call bullshit.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The way I dress. People always ask,"Where are you going all dressed up?" Truth is I've got no plans and too much time, but I like to tell them I'm going to hell in a hand basket.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Mostly I read classics (John Steinbeck, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Daniel Defoe, Mark Twain) but I do enjoy some sifi/horror (Kurt Vonnegut, Philip K. Dick, H.P. Lovecraft) modern fiction (Daniel Quinn, Chuck Palahniuk, Neil Gaiman) and I never feel too old for some Seuss or rereading The Little Prince.

Movies that mess with your mind are always fun, the 80's had the best comedies, I really like documentaries, and sometimes it's nice to relax and watch a cheesy family movie.

TV dramas: Six Feet Under, Dexter, True Blood, Heroes, but my ultimate favorite is Doctor Who. Comedies: Arrested Development, Flight of the Concords, Misfits, Black Books, Trailer Park Boys.

My life is very centered around music. I like a fairly wide range of genres, jazz(mostly swing), punk rock (Bad Religion, the Clash, Against Me!, No Use For A Name), indie (Conner Oberst, M. Ward, Mason Jennings, Mike Doughty, Modest Mouse), blues (Lead Belly, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson), country (Jimmie Rodgers, John Prine, Johnny Cash, Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch), and Folk (Leonard Cohen, Billy Bragg, Phil Ochs, Woody Guthrie) are regulars I listen to.
MP3's are great for portability but you haven't really heard it till you've heard it on vinyl! I've got a decent collection going.

What is there not to like about food?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family and friends - I don't know what I would do without those I depend on, and who depend on me, for love and support.

My guitar - My one true love. She's there for me always, she brings my spirit up when I'm down and, when my mood is already cheerful makes, makes it more so.

My voice - For what is a life without singing.

Books - Knowledge is power and it's found in books. Books challenge me to think and give me inspiration.

A portable devise designed for listening to music - I put this instead of just i-pod, because sometimes I like to rock it old-school with a walkman.

The unknown...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Who said I spend a lot of time thinking?
I think a lot about music, books I've been reading, friends, what movies I might want to see, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Unfortunately working. Or hanging out with my Awesome Roommate... (his suggested edit)
On nights I'm not working sometimes I stay in, go out, get together with friends, watch movies, it really depends on what's happening and/or how I feel.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes I enjoy listing to British pop songs.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You think you should. I'll be honest and tell you that I'm not very good at starting conversation, but if someone else starts it I'm pretty good at going with it.
