My self-summary
Idea for an icebreaker - tell me where my username is from. :D

I like people that are very 'what you see is what you get', sensitive, and fairly laid back. I'm a bit more intense/passionate than laid back, so it's the yin to my yang or whatever. Balances out nicely.

I love to laugh. If you lack a sense of humour, we won't get on. My sense of humour can be pretty immature and also dry, so it'd be great if you're similar. I'm also a bit sarcastic/cynical, very honest, and will probably gently take the mick. Not in a spiteful way. Just a bit of banter, as people say! And just to contradict all this, I'm also quite naive and fairly innocent. I rarely even swear, for god sake, and I adore Disney. The animated films, not the teen channel thing, geez no.

I play a couple of instruments, mainly piano. I adore animals - particularly dogs.

Definitely looking for someone younger than me. Someone sensitive, and when it comes to men, not 'macho'. You ideally need to be pretty comfortable in your own skin. Also if you're musical, that's the icing on the cake.
What I’m doing with my life
Working as a website administrator, and as a freelance proofreader and editor here and there (some people seem to find that intimidating on here, like I'm going to get really angry or judge them for a spelling error haha - not the case at all!).

I want to be a professional musician or a TV writer in the future, but we'll see if that ever happens.

I'm also learning French in my spare time, and I'm part of a musical production for a festival.

I'm also a casual gamer (xbox 360/xbox/PC/wii) but haven't played much for a while, something I'm getting back into. Feel free to suggest some stuff! Nothing horror related though, and definitely no FPS, bleh. Feel free to add me on Steam, my username is the same as on here. :D
I’m really good at
Playing music and writing. Singing? Procrastinating (original, I know). It's bad though, sometimes I'll put something off for so long that I'll literally never do it.

I'm also pretty good at puzzles/logic, and was accepted into Mensa - not sure whether I'm proud or a little embarrassed of that fact!

(I didn't join, though, it's damn expensive.)
The first things people usually notice about me
Might as well be honest, I'm the kind of person that people don't notice at first. I blend into the background, particularly in a group. That isn't ME though, so don't be put off. You just need to put a bit of effort in to get to know me. I reckon it's worth it. :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Films... Whatever takes my fancy, but I do have a huge soft spot for anything Disney/Pixar, and decent romcoms. Also pretty much every Jim Carrey film. Don't normally like that slapstick stuff but there's just something about him.

I love TV, particularly drama and comedy. A few examples: Parks and Recreation, Community, Game of Thrones, The Office (UK and US), The Inbetweeners, Skins, Life on Mars, Spaced, The Great British Bake Off, Father Ted, Miranda, Doctor Who (Rose era), Gogglebox ... and many others that are less good and I don't want to admit on here. ;) Including lots of game/quiz shows.

Also anything from people like Ricky Gervais, Michael McIntyre, Charlie Brooker, Peter Kay, Graham Norton. Adore Ant & Dec, they have an epic bromance going on and just seem like absolutely genuine people.

Music wise, a few off the top of my head: Michael Buble, Queen, Caro Emerald, Eliza Doolittle, The Beatles, Robbie Williams, The Fratellis, The Secret Sisters, McFly (not ashamed!), anything musical theatre, anything Disney (again, the animated films).

Harry Potter is my go to book series. I also love comedy authors such as Nick Hornby and John O'Farrell, decent romances, action/adventure. But seriously, any book that lets me disappear for a while.

Food? I'm vegetarian (but don't worry, I mind my own business), and SO picky. I'm not joking, there's about 10 meals that I'll eat. Although when it comes to desserts? Anything. Just give me it all.
The six things I could never do without
Music, comedy, family, friends, television/films, junk food.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm not one for clubs, I'd prefer to go to the pub, or stay in and watch a film/play a classic board game. I don't drink much but that doesn't make me a bore. I'm just a person who generally prefers the quieter activities! Call me an introvert.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think people need to be honest on a profile, because what's the point in lying? You'll find out eventually and it'll hurt more if it's further down the line. Might as well get all the potential deal breakers out there. ;)

Mine is this: I'm not hugely confident so I don't get myself 'out there' very often, and as a result I'm a virgin at 25. Don't reeeally like that sentence, but that's just how life turned out. I'm not a freak, I'm just shy.

Oh and here's another thing that might bother people? I know hardly anything about politics, and have very little interest in it.

And as we're on the subject, might as well mention my own deal breakers: I couldn't date anyone who's extremely stubborn, or very easily offended. Or mean, but y'know, that's kind of a given.

If you can deal with this, we're onto a winner! Message me with the worst thing about you, I dare you.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi girls
  • Ages 18–26
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You have a good sense of humour, and we at least have something in common! But don't send me a 'hi hows u' mini message, I almost certainly won't reply. Put a bit of effort in, please and thank you. Oh and I also won't reply if your profile is completely empty. But other than that! I'm nice, I promise.
