I'm a small town girl who grew up in a New England town where all
we had were cows. I'd like to live in the city for a bit, but not
long enough for it to harden me. After all, the sky roof of one's
car should be open on summer evenings, but city lights block out
the stars.
I'm an old fashion romantic.
Morals are important. I believe that
family is very dear and should be kept close, even when they are
separated by long distances. Friendship is a must in a
relationship.
I want to learn to
dance (salsa, ballroom, and swing). I took
a few tango lessons this past summer and intend to keep learning. I
also want to learn how to
sail, surf, to rock climb, and to skydive.
I've traveled around the states and Europe with my family; I would
love to continue but reality will keep me homebound now. I'm open
to challenges and love adventure.
For the dork inside of me: synchronized diaphragmatic flutters
(hiccups) are not cool. I think the
Merck Index is a beautiful book. I
prefer perfect inelastic to elastic collisions (physics anyone?)
that end in snuggling. Words come out of my mouth faster than I
process them, and my friends let that happen because they think
it's funny. I read Scientific American Mind and the local
newspaper. I fall up stairs. I (have been known to) wear flip-flops
in the winter (I know...a bit crazy). I don't like crowded places,
slow elevators, or pushy people (but then again who really does?).
I like all shades of pink (but not neon). In my opinion butterfly
kisses are the sign of a well rounded kisser.
I've burnt rice-a-roni. Diet coke without ice is the drink of
choice. I eat the best part first.
Gummy vitamins are not just for
little kids (agree?), and super chunk peanut butter is the best. I
can't really cook, and I'm well aware that this is a problem of
epidemic proportions.
I
run to keep myself
sane. I like the
outdoors, especially when it comes to
fishing. I love the smell of rain after a summer thunderstorm and
the way my hair curls with the humidity. I've never been camping,
but I really want to. The wind can blow my hair (and I won't
complain). I play tennis for enjoyment and wish I was actually
good.
I'm "so east coast" and people tell me it's endearing. I say "jinx,
pinch, poke, you owe me a coke" if someone says something at the
same time as me. I start to cough if I eat too much ice cream
because it's so cold. I've traveled and want to continue because a
cultural experience is second to none. Sunrises are better than
sunsets because they welcome the mysteries of that day. I
(occasionally...ok well maybe more than occasionally) sleep with a
teddy bear, and sometimes I forget to use my indoor voice less
someone remind me...
Maybe I enjoy streams of consciousness?

How to live, laugh, and love...
In my opinion, life is not about finding yourself, it's about
creating yourself; thus, I'm busy trying to create...
Out with the girls (no, probably not at the bars)...or cuddled,
watching a movie.
If I admit my most private thing, then it won't be private;
therefore, I'll pass on this question...
You are dorky at heart and like to laugh. You prefer a girl who is
more cute than hot. I'm pretty old fashion (but I have a backbone
in some matters), so you should message me first. I'm also looking
for a guy who is starting to be a man, someone who I could learn to
laugh with, trust in and be passionate with, yet have a lot of fun
with because he hasn't lost the kid at heart. I'm also open to
learn. I might like science but that leaves a lot that I'm unsure
about too, so if you have the patience and willingness to teach,
you'll be a good match. You don't have to have all the answers
either. Oh, and will you watch a girlie movie once in awhile?
