My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
This is my 3rd draft doing this. I don't know if I'll ever be able to write a paragraph that describes me well but I guess I should keep on trying.... I think I am mostly low key. I enjoy subtler things such as interesting stories from local people, pointing out absurdities in normal things, quirky, dry humor, especially British humor, trying to find relevance in all situations. What I am ultimately saying I suppose, is that I prefer creating fun instead of needing to go somewhere to have it. Nonetheless I can be a sucker for some of the more shallow indulgences, such as dive bar trivia, watching trashy reality television, listening to AC/DC cover bands, drinking light Mexican beer, etc.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Mostly finance, sometimes playing the stock market and also developing a food business. Fairly intense about fitness by working out daily.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
ping pong, drinking bad beer, bad grammar, focusing on useless information for hours on end, coming up with far fetched entrepreneurial ideas, applying too much irrelevant details to work, financial projections
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Many people think I'm laid back, casual and non-judgmental. (Truth be told I'm quite the opposite. I'm very formal and often unfortunately, so analytical and detailed that my head spins.)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Anything by Hemingway, Bukowski, Stephen Crane, Frank Norris. Really like Russian novelists as well, especially Dostoyevski, Gogol, and Lermontov.
Prefer documentaries over movies. Much more exciting watching slices of life than fictional characters. Can watch Current Television for hours on end.
Do not listen to music so much in my old age. I know it's sad but finding good music's time consuming. When I was more into music I liked Sebadoh, Pavement, Guided by Voices, Elliot Smith, Dinasour Jr., Helium.
Open to all types of food as long as it tastes good. Enjoy smaller restaurants off the beatan path over those bigger continental types downtown.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Gosh this is hard...don't think there's anything that is absolutely crucial but I really like Annas Burritos, black tea, laptops, manipulating numbers, saturday morning soccer rooting for a horrible premier league team, space heaters.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Work, The Boston Red Sox, when to fit my daily exercise in, what I should cook for dinner
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually out somewhere indulging in adult cocktails, talking some type of nonsense with friends but sometimes in a coffee shop revising work or revisiting a proposal.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've had a really hard time filling out this profile.

you can endure some teasing, have a huge sense of humor, do not think sushi is the greatest food in the world and of course if you want to.
