My self-summary
I tend to throw off a lot of people since they usually think I'm 27ish. I always thought I looked 35ish, but I can't refuse such compliments. I prefer to be laid back and joke around. Then again, who doesn't? Unless you're a stuffy pants. I would rather get a drink, and talk for an hour, but if you want to arm wrestle for free drinks I can do that too. My schedule is unorthodox. I work weekends and days off on weekdays, but it gives me an excuse to sleep in late when everyone else is working.

I'm also allergic to mangos. God decided to play a cruel joke. Why be allergic to brussels sprouts, or broccoli when you can be allergic to a delicious fruit!?

My brain thinks it's ok to wake me up at 4am, tell me I'm late for work. Proceed to give me a mini heart attack and have me stumble around my bedroom until I realize it's 4 in the morning, not 4 P.M.
What I’m doing with my life
I gave up the IT world for a blue collar job and I love it. I'm much happier and healthier than before. I have less stress, I get to smile more, and dress casually.
I’m really good at
Opening jars, avoiding my cousin who keeps messing up his computer and asking me to fix it, and theological discussions (no arguing unless you're willing to arm wrestle).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Edgar Alan Poe's collection of stories (Poe is my favorite author), Plato's Republic, Wuthering Heights, Les Miserables, Count of Monte Cristo, A Tale of Two Cities. I can't say enough of how much of a great book Plato's Republic is.

I decided to do a small project and read the three books of the Abrahamic religions (Torah, Bible, Koran). After reading all three, the small differences make me wonder why they have so much conflict to begin with. Why did I do it? To try to understand three very influential cultures. I'm looking forward to reading the Bhagavad Ghita next.

Movies/TV - Anything with Daniel Day Lewis, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad. I'm a secret Star Trek nerd (shhh, don't tell anyone).

Food - Italian. Lasagna, chicken parmesan. Lots of fruits, steamed veggies and rice.
The six things I could never do without
1. Gravity
2. Toothbrush and toothpaste
∞. Human contact
½. Pants
Ω. Exercise, or physical hobby
Ӕ. You. The person reading this. Gimme a hug!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I messed up my name, UPW is supposed to be UWS (Upper West Side). That's what I get for trying to multi task. Now I stay up all night crying and eating tubs of ice cream waiting until I can change it.
On a typical Friday night I am
At work until midnight.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I spent about two weeks in third grade hiding a tooth that fell out all over my bedroom. My classmates and I could not figure out why the tooth fairy would not come and exchange the tooth for money. "Under the pillow," one said. "Try under your bed!" Said another. "Maybe she cant get in, leave it outside your window," another chimed. My parents were immigrants, they had no clue about tooth fairies and money.

Tooth Fairy was the first girl to break my heart.
