I decided to give this a try; based on some of my friends success, why not right? I've always believed whoever I date has to have the qualities I look for in a friend. I want her to be my best friend. I want to be able to go for a hike with her, chill and watch a movie, but also set goals and succeed together. I believe mental stimulation far outweighs physical stimulation as you grow older with your partner, but I still want to keep it fun.

Don't you hate how it feels like you need to sell yourself on a first date? It feels like you're exchanging resumes, but I am a realist dater who doesn't need to walk away from a first date wanting to whisk her away to Paris. I want to get to know you. What makes you happy, what erks you, your goals, your dreams..

I'm looking for a woman who will listen from time to time, is emotionally stable, enjoys doing a variety of things for fun. I am not looking for the perfect girl, just the perfect one for me.

I am not trying to appeal to the broader mass here by saying i live a healthy lifestyle of hiking, running and exercise yet i will tell you I do exercise, but I also enjoy movies ( but who doesn't).  I am a focused professional. I'm driven. Goal oriented. Yet also down to earth and humble. I would like to meet that special girl who can be my best friend.

I know everyone says they have a sense of humor, but i truly enjoy laughing and like a girl who can poke fun at herself from time to time. Life is to short,I want a REAL girl.

I am currently working in the IT Industry Software company based in Palo Alto. I try to spend as much time with my friends and family. I think it's important to have a balance.
