My self-summary
I'm pretty bubbly & I laugh easily. I love chocolate, hate missing the trailers at the movies & always order pancakes for brekky, then wish I had bacon & eggs.
My areas of expertise at trivia nights are politics and pop culture - I love a good argument with someone who is passionate about their views - whether we're talking about politics or whether Die Hard is THE perfect action movie (which it is - happy to discuss).
What I’m doing with my life
Six months ago I changed jobs and moved cities so I could have more time to do fun things.
In the past year I've been camping, kayaking, joined roller derby and a bunch of other fun things now that I have the time.
I'm at a great place in my career. I just got back from a holiday to the States and I'd love to go back again.
I’m really good at
My job. Reading. Traveling. Recommending good TV shows to watch. Roller skating. Baking desserts.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I will read absolutely anything, any genre, but Stephen King is my favourite author. I reread IT every summer.
Too hard to pick favourite movies: Die Hard is the best kind of action film, Dirty Dancing is a classic, Alien, The Avengers, Eternal Sunshine to name a few.
I'm currently rewatching Battlestar Galactica, but I also love Justified, Homeland, Community, Rake, just getting into Parks & Rec.
I love going to see live music, but don't do it often enough. On my playlist at the moment: The Black Keys, Arcade Fire, Florence & The Machine, Jay-Z and The Wombats.
The six things I could never do without

Um...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where my next holiday will be...probably back to the United States.
On a typical Friday night I am
...unwinding with a drink or two at a bar I've never been to before (moved from Canberra to Sydney - it's an embarrassment of riches here).
