My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If I don't reply right away, blame my goats...I just had four brand new baby goats born, so it may take a while to reply...

I'm a Christian, homeschooled, ex-4-Her who holds to conservative Libertarian views and generally prefers herbal/natural medicine (not marijuana...I'm a stinging nettle and dandelion junkie). I own a small herd of pedigree dairy goats and think they are awesome.

They do tend to make me somewhat homebound as far as traveling goes, as it's not easy to find back-up people for milking (all of ya'll need to learn how to milk a goat...just sayin, you'd make much better neighbors). So my favorite vacations are ones involving goats. Usually goat shows. Which is ok, I'm not big into traveling and roadtrips anyway. If you've got something that you enjoy at home, why go all over the globe to find that enjoyment. Mine's in my pasture. Don't need a Passport or airport fuss-and-bother for that.

If you want an idea of some of my beliefs, look up Ravi Zacharias on YouTube, and look up the Legacy Institute/Carrie Abbott on the web. Oh, and Answers in Genesis. If I haven't frightened you away yet...then lets chat. ;)

Oh yeah, and check out Joel Salatin/Polyface Farms. He's my hero. And I'm aiming my diet to something like the Weston Price Foundation recommendations. Yes, I'm weird like that. And proud of it.

Also, if it takes me a while to reply, it's probably not you...I am working and I also take care of 13 goats and a new baby sheep...kind of like children who never grow up.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am presently working, usually as a Home care Aide, and currently also as a farm worker, but may branch out into goat rental. I'm aiming towards starting a sustainable/beyond-organic homestead/farm. Using the goats as a centerpiece, I also have a number of other ideas to add diversity. Don't ask if you don't want a long explanation... ;)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
milking goats! :D I'm fairly artsy: drawing, thread art and jewelry making. I seem to have a great memory capacity for the natural world.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have two long blond braids. And I love goats. Oh and my cowboy has spots. No, not polka-dot spots. Spotted cowhide spots.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Louis L'Amour, Francine Rivers, Tony Hillerman. Narnia series

Movies: Pirates of the Caribbean 1, Courageous, Last Ounce of Courage. Narnia (any, but they messed up Voyage of the Dawn Treader)

Shows: NCIS, Dual Survival, Doc Martin. Don't watch much now that the government stole the analog channels and left us with four digital channels, one of which doesn't come in if it's raining and one other is in Spanish. No, I'm not paying for that drivel they call entertainment.

Music: Classical (esp. Beethoven, Dvorak, and the like) & hymns, Southern Gospel, some more modern Worship songs (Keith Green, Stuart Townend, 80's stuff and others). Harmony, especially with a good bass singer, is fantastic.

Food: REAL raw milk, full fat ice cream, maple syrup...butter...cream...stuff made with butter...or cream. Homegrown, fresh carrots. Homegrown raspberries. Homemade beef stock (you haven't lived until you've tried some!! I like mine in French onion soup). Onions, garlic (I have a good relationship with the 'allium' family).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
God, goats, land, ice cream, freedom, gun rights
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lots of things...the pro and con of being an introvert. We do lots of thinking. Politics/the ideas behind them, livestock, God, my future...probably lots more
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Milking two goats and bottlefeeding two lambs. And then feeding hay to the adult goats. And the kids & lambs. And maybe walking the St Bernard. That's assuming the dufus yearling goat didn't get herself stuck in the feeder and needs rescuing. Again.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've set foot inside a casino before, even though I don't gamble... use their restrooms. Which were quite nice, BTW

And I've been to an AA meeting - even though the only alcohol I've ever had was the drops in the bottom of my folks' glass (wasn't impressed)...

...for a school assignment.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I'll talk to almost anybody when I have time and spare neurons but for serious relationship prospect...
-if you are a Christian guy (mandatory if you want to go beyond friend-zone), in reasonable physical shape.
-you don't have your heart set on an inner city or suburban home.
-you aren't afraid of guns or homeschooling.

-And definitely if you like

*real food: not - unfermented soy/loads of processed flour/sugar/factory-sourced unsaturated fats (which are actually one of the causes of Heart Failure - don't let the mega-corporations fool you!) And LOTS of: pastured livestock foods, and yes, the infamous organic plant foods.

-and/or you are one of those rare and (very!) attractive gems who can still do things with their hands. Other than play with a TV remote or game controls. Like woodworking, hunting, vehicle know...guy stuff. Or at least what used to be guy stuff. Hunting skills would be awesome. I like meat.

And please...If you want to message me...say something more than just "whut's up"...a few sentences would be great, it shows me you have a brain, and use it, and have some conversation skills, not to mention gives me a start of a conversation so that I can say something intelligible back...I like intelligence... thanks! You are also more likely to get a reply, which I assume is what you want when you are sending me a message. ;)
