I work for a British aerospace company located just outside Columbus (shouldn't be very hard to Google if you're curious, or just ask me!), and leaving behind about four years of life in Britain to move there.
I will undoubtedly miss a few things: football(I probably won't ever get used to calling it soccer), having all of Europe hours away, pub food and the quintessential British way of queuing. Things I'll trade up on and look forward to are a proper summer, good beaches, and the diversity in people, food and places.
I'm hoping to continue watching live sport, drinking good beer and whiskey and traveling. I was rather impressed by the quality of craft brews while I was there last year, so hoping there is plenty of that with whatever I'm doing to stay busy.
