I am athletic, quirky, and intelligent.
My Self-Summary
I am an athletic person who isn't necessarily outdoorsy. I like to
run and my favorite race length is either a 10K or half marathon.
I'm not so good at anything that requires amazing hand-eye
coordination or really any coordination at all. I like to go to
concerts and hang out with my friends. Hanging out with my friends
mostly consists of watching movies, playing old school N64 games,
talking about beer, or going out to the bars. I'm a bit of a guy's
girl. I don't really have a ton of friends that are girls but all
of my closest friends are girls and they have mostly guyfriends
(funny how that works huh?). I am extremely conscientious and would
always rather be half an hour early than one minute late for
anything.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently a graduate student at UW-Madison. It's a lot of work
but a lot of fun. The further into the program I get the more it
looks like I'll be getting a PhD. I hope to work with people who
have disabilities and their caregivers for a living after I
complete my degree.
I’m really good at
I like to make people laugh and lighten up situations. I believe in
learning by making mistakes and laughing them off. As a result I'm
pretty good at making mistakes.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably that I'm smiling or laughing. I don't like to take
anything too seriously that doesn't have to be.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I could list a million books, movies and foods I love. So here are
my most recently read, watched, listened to, and eaten.
Read: A Long Way Down
Movie: Shrink
Music: Regina Spektor- Far
Eat: Thai Green Curry
The six things I could never do without
1. Books
2. iPod
3. Trainers
4. Bicycle
5. Showers
6. Laptop (I'm a mac girl but not really a mac snob)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think about my future and my career/life/goals after graduate
school. I like to try to plan ahead as much as possible.
On a typical Friday night I am
On Friday nights I can usually be found out or in with my friends
hanging out (that's if I don't have a monster project/paper or exam
the next week in that case I'll be locked up in the stacks).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Well... I still think that if you hide under your covers nothing
can hurt you.
