My self-summary
Ambitiously lazy. I plan to finish working before I'm too old to enjoy the things I like.
I'm into a lot of things so you will have to hit me up to see if our interests are mutual. I generally like to hover around geeky of side of things though.
I prefer solutions to problems but I see the value in problems at the same time. Life would be boring if everything just 'worked'.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm doing things. I'm in the process of changing careers. I study engineering and science and I work as undergrad engineer among other things.
I like to go with the flow and I find it funny where it has taken me in life. I feel that things in life are better appreciated when they are unplanned (most of time).
I’m really good at
I'm pretty good at procrastinating and panicking over deadlines, usually in that order.
I'm pretty good at operating things with a screen or current, moving about with or without a compass, appreciating a good rainy day and working columns on a spreadsheet. Though I would prefer not to do the latter.
I also have an approximate knowledge of many things.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I am some sort of human creature. After that idk, I'm not psychic.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like fiction that parallels current society. Nothing too heavy, just enough to get you thinking. Books I like might include Do androids dream of electric sheep?, Brave New World, Nineteen eighty four, Alice's adventures in wonderland, Lolita, Name of the wind (guilty pleasure), American Psycho, A clockwork orange and a few more that I would share if asked. I like books.
As for music in pretty happy as long as it's not a generic copy of something or auto-tuned. I'm looking at you nova.
I'm pretty hit or miss with movies. More so with tv shows.
The six things I could never do without
Earth, fire, wind, water, heart and maybe some sort of combination of the previous.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Nothing. But then I realise I'm thinking about nothing as a noun, then verb and then an adjective. Then I get really confused, shut down and go back to nothing. Rinse and repeat.
On a typical Friday night I am
Typical is an ugly word. But I'm either at home or wishing I was.
You should message me if
If you have an open-minded and don't mind a bit of awkwardness blended into a conversation.
Or don't, I'm not your parents.
