I'm a student at University of Washington, a 20-year old sophomore, studying South Asian languages and literature.

At heart though, I consider myself a writer. I've been writing for ages, I love it to death, and I'm good at it. I work for the Daily, the newspaper on campus and my current dream job is as an international journalist. Apart from all that I'm a musician, too, insanely passionate about music even if I do have the tendency to not practice for long spans of time.

I like the finer things in life and will always spring for the higher price if it's also a higher quality--this goes for nice clothes like sweaters and suits as well as drinks and food.

I'm looking for a good friendship, really. I've had girls that worship the ground I walk on and girls that barely give me an ounce of affection back, but I truly desire a relationship with someone who is a friend to me and who I want to be with as often as possible because I enjoy all my time with them. Even if all we do is watch movies and talk, or if I'm so busy I need to do my homework when I'm with them, I want that time.

But, no crazies, and please be able to transport and take care of yourself. I rely on a bus pass, but at least I can get around.

I'm a Hindi major at UW, which means I like learning languages and I'm pretty good at it to. I know a little German as well, and I'm hoping to get better again. What I would really like to do is international journalism, but I know that's a hard job to come by and it pays like crap so at this point I'd just like to be able to do something dealing with translation and foreign relations--if I graduate at least proficient to fluent in two languages, I'll never be poor.

I play a lot of video games--I'm great at a lot of them and okay at a few, but I am amazing at absolutely anything Rock Band or Guitar Hero. I'm also not too shabby at my real instruments--bass and guitar, dabbling in drums, but I can't sing to save my life.

I'm a great writer, too, focusing mostly on journalistic articles and more scholarly essays with a tendency towards short stories.

I'm also a shining, happy people person. I talk a lot, I joke a lot and I always go out of my way to help anyone who needs or wants it. I also like to think I'm an okay listener and I'm earnestly caring towards anyone I meet.
