My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Quick version:
1) Tall, dark, fit on the outside
2) Intelligent, ambitious, nerd on the inside
3) Not arrogant, Not a smooth talker, Not a sports fan, Not competitive, Not loud.

Longer version:
I'm an Engineer at my job and in life. I really like learning how things work. I like to analyze and solve all sorts of problems. I often get the urge to build/create/modify/fix things. I love to read up on new ideas when they pop into my head.

I'm kinda nerdy. Easy going. Quiet at first, but once I get to know someone I really open up. I can be pretty goofy when I'm in a good mood. Hopefully you are goofy enough to laugh at stupid things with me. Haha.

Fun facts:
I have built lots of things.
I can and have fixed almost anything.
I know a lot about engines.
I know a lot about the stock market.
I really like T shirts.
I lived in Chicago for about 5 years, and moved back to Michigan over a year ago. (I grew up in Michigan)

Desired woman:
1) Smart and successful.
2) Not a broke artist/whiny liberal.
3) Decently fit. (You have a gym membership and you use it.)
4) Very strong preference for dark hair and eyes.

Bonus points if:
1) You smell really good. Sweet pea, cucumber melon, etc. I'm all over you.
2) You are an only child. (I am)

Not a huge fan of:
Obnoxious sports fans, Religion, Politics, Arguing (lawyer types may be a problem), and generally loud people who always cut others off in conversation.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
MS in Mechanical Engineering and 6 yrs working in the auto industry. But I am really passionate about stock market trading. I dream of becoming good enough at trading that I could leave engineering jobs and work from home. Which would be somewhere with perfect weather. Or maybe a few different places depending in the season. I have also considered going back to school for either an MBA or MS in finance. Hard to justify the cost though. Who knows how things will work out.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Analysis. And listening.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
"You are surprisingly social for an engineer" (thanks?)
"Are you in the military?" "No."
Group conversations are not very interesting to me, neither is most small talk. It's like listening to dumb jocks and cheerleaders talking to each other. Zzzz. Then we get a chance to talk alone and I raise the conversation up to medium or even "big" talk right away. It probably seems like I was really quiet, then suddenly had a lot to say.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Going to the movies is one of my favorite activities of all time.

Movies: Sci-fi, Suspense, Superhero
Shows: HBO, Showtime, Elementary, Futurama,
Music: Electronic, Black keys, White stripes, music with energy
Food: Middle Eastern, Mexican, Pizza with mushrooms, Sushi
Drink: Ginger ale or fresh homemade limeade. When I'm drinking alcohol, I go for Mexican beers, whiskey or tequila.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Quality sleep
2. Adequate time alone
3. A project of some sort to think about
4. Feeling productive
5. A good movie to look forward to
6. Really good music to blast in the car
7. Regular workouts
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
1) Sex. Lets be clear, I'm a good guy, but I want to hump your brains out regularly, not become pen pals.
2) Money. And how to make more of it. Or how to save more.
3) How things work. (Why do we have armpit hair? How do they calculate ratings for TV shows?)
4) What to eat for lunch.

I still kindof wish I could invent something that would change the world. But the reality is that it requires an assload of money. So if I become rich one day I will probably give money to startup technology companies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Friday: Probably relax after work
Saturday: Partytime. Get out of the house at least.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes I have to pretend to like sports when other guys try to talk to me about it. If it's not making me money, or teaching me something useful It's hard for me to be interested. Maybe I should start betting on games.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
For "short term dating":
You want to hangout this weekend. Seriously. I'm single, I have no plans, hurry up and message me. If you are attractive and close by, and want to split the bill, we really should meet up. Having a fun date does not depend on you being my soul mate, or me being yours.

For "long term dating"
1) You live within 30 min of Canton, MI, United States of America!
2) You don't have any kids.
3) You're sure you like men.
4) Your waist is smaller than your hips.
5) You have all your teeth
6) You are not a creepy old lady
7) You actually want to hangout in person
8) You gladly want to pull your own weight as long as I know you because you have a career, and like to be independent.
9) It would be awesome if you smell good.
10) And ideally you are cute
