My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am looking for a relationship that's real. I was married for 10 years, and question why I let it go on for so long, knowing it could never last. I am a single father of 2 wondeul children who come fit in my life. I have a 16 y/o daughter, and an 13 y/o son. I would do anything for them, and always will. They live with me, and I wouldn't want it any other way. They keep me extremely busy with school and sports, I am perfectly content doing this, they are only young once. With that said, I would love company because I definately miss the companionship.

I am looking for someone who is honest, caring, funny, spontaneous, who has their head on straight. I don't need drama and games in my life, it's busy enough without all that garbage. Be real, that's all I ask.

I was born and raised in South West Michigan. At the age of 18 I enlisted in the Army so that I could support my family, I was in the Army for 4 years. I traveled a bit while enlisted, I spent time in SC, GA, TX, and South Korea for 1.5 years. It was an amazing experience, but took a great deal of time away from my family, so I completed my service, and headed back to Michigan.

Family is important to me, I have an amazing family that supports me in everything I do. They have let me live my life, and
learn from both my accomplishments and mistakes.

I enjoy life, I love to travel (I have MANY destinations on my list). I really like to go skiing, I am usually at Bittersweet in Otsego, but sometimes o up north as well, and east to West Virginia.

For the last 8 years photography has really been a big part of my life. I have turned it into a 2nd career, specializing in sports photography, events, portraits, seniors. If you want to see my website just ask! I love to educate myself, most of the things I have learned are from reading, watching, observing, and just trying it. I am a hands on type of person.

Well I am going to stop here, I figured I would write a couple of sentences and be done. Now I'm just rambling...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have been with the same company for 11 years. Paying the mortgage, and working on the American dream. Thats all anyone can really ask for right?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Anything handyman. I am good with electronics, house projects, computers, anylyzing things, listening, photography is also a large part of my life.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably that I am tall.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I can say I am not much of a novel reader. If I learn something from it, I usually like it. I have a small library of photography books that I have been reading currently. Movies, I really like a great comedy, most of my favorite movies have been based on true stories.

Music, I have an extremely broad range of music choices. Usually, if look through someones iPod, you can get a pretty good feel for what they like. Don't do this with mine, you would just be confused.

Food, Italian food is ohh so good, om nom nom! It's probably the carbs, they arent good for ya, but they taste mighty damn good. Nothing better than fresh hot bread, and a little olive oil. I like a variety of food, but thats my favorite.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If you only think about the future, you'll never enjoy the present. I think a lot about what I have to be thankful for.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends on the season. Fall, football games. Winter, skiing at Bittersweet. Spring, hoping the winter is long enough for more skiing. Summer, out on the boat.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That wouldn't make it very private would it??? I really like getting dressed up to go out somewhere fancy. You know the old saying. "Dress to impress", "Look good, feel good". They ring true.
