First if you know what a sonic screwdriver is... you are already on my good side.
I Olympic lift at a CrossFit affiliate that gets I don't care about running around like a chicken with my head cut off and mostly lets me avoid the stuff I have no desire to do (jump rope, box jumps, wall balls, mindless high intensity crap). Yes, I'm quite overweight, so what... I'm a work in progress. I'm looking for someone who trains with similar regularity, someone that wouldn't mind say one day having a decet home gym.
Bibliophile (and actual avid reader), blogging for over a decade, active twitter presence... Adam West is one of my followers, so apparently I'm semi-interesting!
I'm a hard worker, I've been at my job since summer of 2006. For the past two years I ran an online business that in a year net me several times my annual salary from my day job, however I've recently sold this property off as I was tired of working 7 days a week. Going forward I'm looking at significantly cutting my spending and 'downsizing' my life (and de-cluttering) as I'm going to begin working hardcore on financial independence. Ideally a potential partner would have a similar mindset and be looking to live well within her means and invest in her future as I plan to 'retire' as early as possible so I can spend the rest of my life doing whatever I want and having time to actually enjoy every day without the stress of a 9-5.
Years of being a boy scout has instilled a passion for disaster preparedness and although I don’t have my “Mad Max” vehicle all decked out yet, I DO have the Mad Max movies on DVD, so a movie marathon on a rainy day would not be out of the question. I really am a movie lover of all kinds, although Science Fiction, classic flicks like Roman Holiday and anything with Gene Wilder, Richard Pryor, or Mel Brooks are favorites. How about you? Quote me the line of your favorite film and I bet I've seen it and can likely even name it.
Stage productions are also something I enjoy and a night at the theater is always on my list of date ideas. I am a thespian although the last production I had anything to do with was Little Shop of Horrors in high school, consequently it's one of my favorite plays. Have you ever seen it? I'm always up for catching plays, musicals, or ballets at the Murat or Clowes, want to join me? I also love a good laugh (who doesn’t right?) and a night at a comedy club with some critique and comedy of our own after could potentially be great first date to me.
I'll also add that I'm a Christian, I'm also a Freemason (we aren't devil worshippers, if you think we are and refuse to listen then hey hit the bricks).
