My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm easy going, and if you can endure my sarcasm, easy to get along with. I grew up in Western Mass, so I enjoy a retreat to the woods every now and then. Studied music production long enough to get a degree, and I dabble in saxophone, and guitar. I love design and photography. Fonts fascinate me. I like to shoot film for the surprises, the lack of instant gratification.

I'm a cyclist. I ride everywhere, and not much makes me happier than taking apart a bottom bracket, or repacking some bearings. I like getting my hands dirty.

I'm a romantic. I'm an optimist. I'm fairly competitive. And I'm trusting, probably to a fault.

A great meal might be life's greatest pleasure.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a bike company, doing what can only be described as Sales & Marketing (never thought I'd say that). Everything from dealing with bike shop owners who sell our bikes, to managing our website, and designing catalogs and advertisements. We're a small company, so I seemingly have a real influence on a product sold all over the world. That, the creative aspect, and the occasional travel, have me pretty happy with this gig.

I also work for a company that times running races. I'm the guy who gave you your bib number for that St Patty's 5k. Although I'm not really a runner, go figure.

I've been getting into brewing beer lately, and the first few batches were surprisingly not awful. I have a double IPA in the fermentor right now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Arranging things in an aesthetically pleasing fashion. Taking tests. Fixing things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm genuinely well-intentioned.

Bukowski, Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, Dystopian novels, Hunter S Thompson (even the rather dry, political stuff. I could read about George McGovern and the political climate of the early 70s all day if this guy is writing it). Beat poetry, all poetry really, Frank O'Hara, EE Cummings,

Comics and graphics novels do it for me sometimes. At the moment, Transmetropolitan.

Dinosaur Jr., The Pixies, Broken Social Scene, BTBAM, Jazz on crackly vinyl, the Dirty Projectors, Fleet Foxes, NRBQ, Sam Cooke, Allen Stone, The Notorious B.I.G., Aesop Rock, Black Sheep, Stravinsky or Beethoven when the mood is right,

Wes Anderson, David Lynch, Kubrick, Horror movies (even laughably bad ones), Dirty Work, Friday, the original trilogy on VHS,

Louie, Upright Citizens Brigade, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Twin Peaks, Showtime and AMC seem to be getting some things right these days.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

You
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I should really be doing.

Whether or not I should go back to school for design.

The Boston Celtics.

Should I get this tattoo of a fox?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing darts, and probably drinking one too many.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
