My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a junk yard full of false starts.

Hi, I'm Sam, and I am basically just the worst at talking about myself. Anyways, I'm a pretty driven person and mostly lose sleep due to that. I work in the optical field as my day job, and recently started a small production group to drive my passion of filmmaking. (I always feel weird saying filmmaking, since nothing is actually film anymore) We're mostly working on short films, but also have some different series and sketches lined up. It's pretty neat, and I could talk about it for hours, so if anyone is interested about it then feel free to ask. Other than all that, I have a generally abstract sense of humor. And I'm an admirer of puns.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I make a spectacle out of spectacles for a paycheck, and make movies so I can keep my sanity. If I still have my sanity anyways. In my downtime I'm probably either playing games, or I'm out on the town. I can usually be found around riverside being a ruffian.

I don't sleep often.

I also like to photoshop Jeff Goldblum onto things.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making cat noises. Fixing glasses. Sales, I'm sometimes ashamed by how good I am at sales.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I...I honestly have no idea.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Writers -- Jack Kerouac, Stienbeck, Alan Moore, Walt Whitman, Mark Twain, H.P. Lovecraft, George Orwell.

Movies -- Old boy is probably my favorite movie, followed closely by Taxi Driver. But I love all Tarantino movies, cult classics like Mad Max and The Warriors. The Cohen Brothers are probably the best current directors and they blow most everything out of the water.

Music -- Elliott Smith is my father figure, Conor Oberst is my brother, and Bob Dylan is God.

Foods - sushi sushi sushi

Television -- Buffy is pretty much my favorite show. Also, Twin Peaks, Breaking Bad, Firefly, and Battlestar Galactica are up there as well.

Being alone from time to time

and occasionally making a rhyme.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What blind people see when they dream.

How to spin experiences into stories.

The collective amount of beers I've had in my life. I'd be terrified to find that out, but I want to know.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Telling myself I don't have time to do anything fun because I need to work on my current project. Instead I just drink with my cat.

/I love my cat/
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I broke my banjo hopping a train. I have a lot of weird stories.
