How can I write a self-summary without sounding cheesy or contrived? Hmm, ohh wait I am cheesy and contrived, so its a natural fit.

The Basics:
5' 9" white jewish guy from SoCal originally and now has landed in DC. I am fit enough so I can still see my toes when I look down and do enjoy cycling when its warm. I'm 27 and I still don't feel like an adult. Yes I do work at USAID as a government lackey and sticky cog in the wheel of efficiency and progress. I love working for the agency and it pays, so I really can't complain since I was a finance major at Tulane and the alternative at Wall Street does not sound that appealing currently.

The Tao of me:
I having been a nomad for the last 4 years of my life, but I am fairly certain I will be in DC for awhile. I love to travel, something that I started doing when I was living in Holland. I got addicted and now I must travel to some place once a month or I go stir crazy. Sometimes its planned, other times I just pick a direction and go until I find where I am supposed to go. I love history and knowing useless knowledge in general. TV is great, horrible and stupid reality shows are even better.

What I want:
Someone adventuresome, loves to travel and interesting to talk to. A person who is intelligent and not afraid of a good debate. Whether laid-back or dominant, I think I can adjust to either personality.

I am trying to figure that out. Okcupid is a step, graduate school is another, remembering to tie my shoes is another.

Breathing, I have been a breather for over 26 years now, and an expert for 4 and a half.

My sense of humor and inquisitive looks when someone says something strange. My quirky outlook on life and topics in general, some people see it as refreshing, others as weird.

I'm not a huge reader and I definately not a read something twice type of person, but I enjoy non-fiction books such as Thomas Friedman's "The World is Flat" and "Hot, Flat and Crowded". So I keep collecting books, but never finishing them. I started reading the American President series with Abraham Lincoln, then stopped moved on to about Jewish Pirates of the Carribean. Then I also started a book called the White Man's Burden, which like Dead Aid, makes the point on how much aid agencies fail at foreign aid...so motivating for someone who works for an foreign aid agency. Finally because I really want you to know my level of commitment to things, I started another book, the Other Boyelyn Girl, to go along with my Tudors kick on Showtime.

Movies: Typical guy selections, pretty much anything that has stupid humor(Will Farrell, Borat), over the top violence (Underworld) or cool Sci-Fi (The Matrix) Sorry I go to movies to be entertained. That is not to say I'm not willing to try new things and don't want to think, but if its subtitled and does not have kung fu in it, that would be a hard sell for me.

Music: Not into country, everything else is ok. Red Hot Chilli Peppers is my favorite, but anything that mentions California in it, I tend to like.,

Food: Yes I like to eat. Fast food to fancy 3-5 course dinners I do it all. I will not categorize myself. I dislike poison immensely.

my eventual plan to take over the country of Montenegro. I think the world is too ambitious and impractical, I'll start small and build my way up from there. I also like cheese and I think about when will be the next opportunity to consume said cheese. I also think about how to better my station in life, you have to have some credibility if you want to rule Montenegro and make it the number 1 cheese country in the world.

Dinner with my roommates usually, nothing too wild or crazy, those days of staying up until 6 am on Saturday are slowly fading into a distant memory of a younger existence.
