I am quirky, independent, and smellyfine.
My Self-Summary
I don't take myself too seriously and typically rely on
self-deprecating humor to survive in today's crazy world.
Falling away - Benjamin Pacheco
I've come to realize that I can't change the past and have
absolutely no way of predicting the future...all I can do is
control the present and that's why I'm here. I want to share what I
think has been, and continues to be, a pretty cool life with
someone who's looking to do the same. More succinctly, I'll say
this - I want to find a girl that would drive 900 miles in a diaper
just to see me and I'd do the same... of course, neither one of us
would have implements of destruction in our backseats and we
wouldn't be charged with attempted murder! ;-)
Life is not only too short, but also too long to be wasted with
unhappiness. I've had both misery and ecstasy in relationships and
have become tired of the peaks and valleys and truly want to find
someone steady yet spontaneous. I'm not so much interested in
whether you squeeze the tube of toothpaste from the bottom as much
as whether you call your parents on a regular basis. I think at the
end of the day, you can't convey a personality in "120 characters
or more" so if you like what you've read and can handle what I
describe below, please click the 'Email Me!' button and type
something...
What I’m doing with my life
Lately, I've been doing some or all of the following with my life:
I love to play golf, be outdoors, hike, kayak, workout, listen to
music, download music, listen to downloaded music, play with my
home theater system, living up to the 'boys with toys' stereotype,
do home improvements, watching HGTV to get ideas on home
improvements, watch sports, shop online, sell things via Craig's
little list, and attempting to think of things I'm doing with my
life...
I’m really good at
Hooking things up - you know...guy stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm tall and can make farty noises with my hands...well, I don't
usually put THAT on display first off, but it is quite the skill.
Maybe I should've put that in the section on "I'm really good at".
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Fast Food Nation, Close To Shore, Harlan Coben, Why Do Men
Have Nipples Movies: One Day in September, Friday Night Lights,
Lives of Others, Kolya Music: Everything but cop killa rap,
Alternative Country, Alternative Rock, Classic Rock, The
Replacements, Joe Purdy, Pete Droge, The Blasters, The Gourds,
Frightened Rabbit, Okkervil River, and any bluegrass covers of rap
tunes. Food: Sushi, Indian, Red Velvet Cake (but NOT out of a
box!)
JUST WATCHED Babel the other night - great picture show!
The six things I could never do without
My friends, water, humor, freedom, and usually 2 random things that
rotate...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If I'm truly making a difference in the world. Then I think that
the time I just spent thinking about making a difference was
getting in the way of actually making a difference. And around and
around it goes...
On a typical Friday night I am
Ecstatic with anticipation of a great weekend...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Well now, this ? doesn't really make sense...but, if pressed, I'll
say that I have crazy spouts of wanderlust.
You should message me if
If you think we'd make a good meal.
