Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"Love takes off masks that we fear we cannot live without and know
we cannot live within."
The right guy looking for the right girl to share our awesome lives
with each other. I think chemistry is the most important and,
ironically, the most unpredictable thing that draws people
together. Beauty is great, and fun is, well, fun. But chemistry is
just something you need to make a relationship more than a
Life to me is a classroom, a party, a romantic comedy, and a giant
family Thanksgiving dinner all wrapped into one experience. I don't
think masculinity and kindness are mutually exclusive, nor are
femininity and strength (as every mother has proven). I love
learning from other people and other cultures. I also love
traveling, and have lived in Japan and South Africa - both of which
were awesome, life-changing experiences.
Wow, this into makes me sound like I take myself super seriously,
haha. No worries, I'm plenty of fun too (read on).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm helping to build smarter, more sustainable cities, and I love
it. I've been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit and find that
new experience helps me to see my life with fresh
I came to SF a few years ago to get my MBA and refresh my career -
it was a wonderful decision and I'm very happy that I made the
leap. Now that I'm on a good career path it would be even greater
to have someone special to share my moments with. Thus the profile
you're reading...I'm ready to meet the right girl for the long
term. All this dating stuff can be fun but I'm looking for a nice
girl to naturally move past dates and into spending our time
together, becoming a part of each other's lives.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Riding ostriches, cage-diving with great white sharks, record
height bungee-jumping (OK I've only done these once), breaking
stereotypes about white boys and dancing abilities (done perhaps
too many times), crushing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" at
Seeing the good in people, speaking Japanese like I'm straight
outta Osaka, having great conversations with the most random
people, looking better in person (I've been told), stumbling upon
awesome things to do in foreign countries without an itinerary.
The first things people usually notice about me

That my smile is contagious. Also I've been asked by a beautician
if I get my eyebrows done professionally (nope!), was either a
compliment or a sales pitch...you tell me :)

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Remixes, good friends, family, new experiences to learn from,
humanity, air & water, honesty, and the ability to add more to
lists than they ask for.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
"Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear,
too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but
for those who love, time is eternity."
- Henry Van Dyke
I also think a lot about all the things and people to be grateful
for in life, what I can personally do to help make the world a
little better for myself and others, and how awesome monkeys are.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wrestling grizzly bears, lion-taming, solving the next digit of pi,
taking over for Atlas, telling Climate Change to change back,
stand-in body modeling for Tyson, training dolphins to save seal
pups from sharks...or occasionally maybe just hanging out with good
friends, or even (gasp!) relaxing at home after a long week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I once teared up during one of the later scenes of Zoolander.
I love me some documentaries.
And I find OkCupid's stats research blog fascinating.
The fact that I've already admitted 3 things here should be a sign
that I'm a pretty open person.

Most of all you're looking for a guy who's fun to be around, treats
you like a lady and values chivalry, has his life together, cares
about what he does with his life, is communicative, easygoing,
genuine, and evolved, but masculine and passionate at the same
As for me I'm looking to meet someone I can enjoy my time with,
ideally someone who is fun, intelligent, caring, stylish, classy
and laid-back, sees the glass as half full (if not overflowing at
times), and is up for exploring the sights, sounds, and flavors of
the city, and maybe spending some relaxing nights at home.
Obviously no one is perfect (including me of course), but I'm
looking for the girl who's perfect for me, and these are the kind
of things I find attractive in a woman. In a perfect world I'd like
to meet a woman I adore, respect, desire, and admire - and who
feels the same way about me.
If you've made it this far, you should probably just send me a
message anyway to make all that laborious reading worth your while
