I’m working my way through the down turn and trying to finish school. I’m a non traditional student majoring in mechanical engineering. I’m looking for an intelligent and active woman to take on a few dates maybe more. The internet can be a scary place to meet people and I'm very careful who I initiate contact with. On the other hand I tend to respond well to a woman who takes the initiative. I don’t smoke and I don’t do illegal drugs but I’m up for a drink or two. I like to discuss and debate politics, religion, morality, physics, metaphysics etc. Recently I have been trying to be more honest and authentic in my conversations. I'm also learning how to ballence harmony and conflict in conversations. I tend to get impatient with petty subjects like television shows and fashion trends. I pretty much qualify for all of those personality awards.

I'm working on a BSMET ( mechanical engineering) at Southern Polytechnic State University. I'm also trying to rebuild my circle of friends after switching schools. I work nights during the week helping lawyers with their computer problems. I'm Christian but I haven't been to church in a year. politically I am a libertarian, I believe in freedom and personal responsibility. My goal is to get out of school as soon as possible with as little debt as possible and then find a good job then work my way into a consulting business or patent and produce a product.

I'm working with my hands,working on computers or anything mechanical. I also love to do improvisational cooking. I've been know to give very good massage, play a decent chess game, and tell a good story or joke. I like to talk about the big issues and I'm generally good at making a point or defending my opinion. I have some artistic ability but I'm not terribly skilled. My athletic activities tend to run twards the outdoors, swimming, biking, paintball, Camping and hiking

I've been told it was my hair ( when I had long hair), my eyes, my lips (I don't make this stuff up, I just report it), and my facial expressions. I always have an opinion on something.

books. I'm a pretty avid reader of fiction although I read a little philosophy and some psychology books as well.

I have a soft spot for Lloyd Alexander and David Eddings.

Movies: hot fuzz, Boondocks saints, Memento, Fight club, batman begins, the lord of the rings trilogy, Firefly. there are plenty of other movies I love but I'm not going to go into that here.

television

heroes and battlestar gallactica are the shows I'd like to keep up with but I can't really watch allot of TV with my work schedule. I prefer social contact to watching television anyways.

Music: I have very eclectic music tastes, I'm always interested in hearing something new.
